DevOps Bootcamp, will take longer than expected

Nana without a doubt has expert level knowledge of the material. She is thorough and the presentation of the material is good. My experience and the experience from people that I personally spoke to in my cohort is that this course will take much longer than advertised. The DevOps bootcamp was sold to me with the estimate that I could complete in six months by studying 10-15 hours a week. On the high estimate, that is 360 hrs total for completion. I took time off work and went through the material as fast as I could without sacrificing retention. I kept strict records of my study time and when I was 90% done with the course, I had exceeded 600 hours. Also, my experience is the support staff is hit and miss. Don't rely on them to help troubleshoot problems quickly. It can be a day before they respond to your request for help.

I am pleased to know you found the course content valuable and I apologize for any discrepancies regarding the course duration and understand your concerns about support response times. The Ultimate IT Beginners Course

I'm a junior software engineer and this course covers so many knowledge gaps! Nana explains things in a calm and clear way that makes everything feel easy and understandable, without skipping any details.
The videos are well maintained and easy to follow even when the examples are based on older versions of the tools.
I have definitely gained a deeper understanding of DevOps, and I feel way more confident working in the terminal now than before this course. I highly recommend this course.

DevOps bootcamp

As an IT-support technician with limited DevOps knowledge, I found this course incredibly enlightening, introducing new concepts in IT field. Nana’s and her team’s dedication in breaking down complex tools is truly impressive and deeply appreciated.

In my opinion, the course is extremely well-planned, presenting tools and concepts that may seem basic at first glance but are actually deep and Nana ensures that you understand what you’re doing and why. The material is detailed yet not overwhelming, with modules arranged in a perfect learning order that makes everything clear and logical.
The handouts and checklists are just perfectly well prepared for refreshing your mind and planning your study, making the learning process smooth and enjoyable.

I can’t help but praise the amazing support team on Discord. They’re always helpful and supportive, no matter the module or subject. Discord has been a fantastic platform for finding solutions and sharing experiences with other learners as well.

If you’re considering whether to buy this bootcamp or not, this is your sign—go for it!
This is THE BEST DevOps bootcamp out there, offering a great environment, planning, theory, hands-on practice, demos, exercises and support for advanced troubleshooting.
Truly recommended for anyone looking to step into the DevOps field.

I have still lot to learn and just started to deepen my knowledge in DevOps this year, but Nana’s course was definitely game changer.

11/10, highly satisfied!

I now understood the connection

I came from an engineering background and moved straight to DevOps Engineering over a year ago. I have learnt many tools, but I still feel a knowledge gap is missing. This course was and is what I have been looking for. It bridged the fundamentals (from the front end to the back end) while at the same time linking everything together in a coordinated manner, giving me the needed background knowledge I was missing. Thank you, Nana, for the detailed explanation of this course. With this, I now understood the connection.

TWN Devops Bootcamp

As a freelance software developer with a little background in DevOps, I took this bootcamp to transition into this fascinating field. The experience was exceptional, with the course content clearly explained and complex concepts made easy to grasp. The bootcamp was intensive, requiring roughly 3-4 hours a day, and I completed it in 2-3 months. What made my experience great was the hands-on experience with real-life projects, which provided a deep understanding of practical DevOps skills. The company's well-structured curriculum and top-notch support exceeded my expectations, equipping me with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that are directly applicable in my work. This transformative experience has significantly boosted my career prospects, and I highly recommend this DevOps bootcamp to anyone looking to transition into DevOps or enhance their existing skills.

This Ultimate Crash Course for…

This Ultimate Crash Course for beginners is amazing. I love it 10 stars. Never had any IT background besides troubleshooting small systems problems with printers. I used to think a cell phone and a laptop could do the same things. Boy was I wrong! Thank you Nana! I look forward to continuing even more learning.

The best course for the CKA adventure

I took nana's CKA course to take the exam in 2022 and I passed it with a score of 86%.
Today I am preparing for the kubestronaut and I am refreshing my skills with this course because the concepts are well explained through well presented demos which also cover certain subjects of the CKAD and the CKS.
This is absolutely the best kubernetes course if you want to get started on the CKA adventure.

Overall an incredible course

Overall an incredible course, the amount of information shared and effectively structured is amazing, I went from very basic knowledge to now being able to write code, setup infrastructures and run servers, it is changing my life for the best.

The only criticisms I have are regarding the limitations of the discord support, to have more "mentors" available in different time zones and I wouldn't recommend doing this course on a Windows, the VMs weren't working properly, the amount of troubleshoot and extra research I had to do to solve conflicting issues was tremendous, and the support didn't really have the tools or knowledge to help with Windows issues, it payed off in the end because now I know how to adjust Windows for functionalities taught for Mac.

Excellent Course for Newbies in IT

I am trying to switch into IT. I tried learning DevOps from other course providers but I was frustrated because I just knew how to execute commands without actually knowing how they relate to the real world. But since I joined Nana's bootcamp everything seems to fall in place. Her methods of explaining concepts with simple real world examples makes everything easy to comprehend. I highly recommend "The Ultimate IT Beginners Course" for anybody trying to switch into IT.

Excellent dev basics training!!

I took the IT Beginners course after a web dev fundamentals bootcamp and CS concepts self-study. It was the key for me to really understand what's going on behind the scenes on current dev processes, since the other bootcamps compact more stuff on the same amount of time, but less thought on the real whys and hows, which are the most important. I would give the 5th star for this course if we had a pdf or other kind of notes. I made some. Processes, resources, commands build up in a complex stuff to consolidate with videos only. Notes containing the same excellent stuff and quality the videos have would not only be helpful, but necessary. I'm not talking about syntaxes which we can search for, but about concepts and resources we count on to run a project.

My company recently…

In recent months my company began transitioning work from on-prem to the cloud and has adopted using containerization and infrastructure/configuration as code as the way of the future.

Coming from an infrastructure background I was fortunate to move to a SRE role. However, at first I struggled with some of the concepts and there were a number of gaps because I did not have the software development background.

Soon I learned about some of Nana's courses on youtube which introduced me to the bootcamps. This opened an entire new world for me and gave me tremendous confidence. Not only did it teach me software development, but made it much easier to learn
new tools and understand all the new Devops concepts.

This had a profound impact on my ability to master my new role in site reliability engineering and devops, because Nana’s programs provide all of the tools and exercises to not only know what to do, but why.

If you want to kick-start your IT career in Devops, SRE or DevSecOps, invest in yourself. I would highly recommend all of the bootcamps and that you do them in the order. This is an outstanding program.

Worth the time and money

I have done several of her courses and recommended them to many others. They are very in-depth, well produced, and have a great logical progression. Many of the online courses are superficial and would not set you up for success if trying to actually perform the role in a real scenario.

Best on market as usual

Well, this is the best course I've ever seen. Even I can say I knew some concepts, this course is going so deep with all the information and is very well explained. You can't ask more than you will find in the course, for me was like this: "I still have a question, ooh, in the next video is already presented and concept explained".

I think Nana is reading our minds before starting her courses :)
