Perfect for little hands and minds!
I was a little bit hesitant that my four year old would be able to do this but after explaining and asking questions about electricity, he was ready to dive in and figure out how to make his lights work and his buzzer to make sounds.
He actually plays with this daily. I originally got it for my Pre-K class, but with school cancelled, I let me kids play with it and they use it almost every single morning, trying out new shapes and figuring out what else, like slime, will conduct electricity.

Didactic and fun for all of us.
My kids love playing with the didactic toys offered. Even though the Microbit is for ages 7 onwards, my younger kid loves to play with the resulting robots, cars or games from each exercise. It helps especially now that we have to stay home.

Webstore is child friendly..... if you're brave enough to let your child loose! You might find everything in the basket!!!
The online instructions for building the kits is well thought out, with clear step by step illustrated directions and short explanations of the how and why parts work.
The gallery for your child to display a picture of their completed kit and share it with other children is a great idea. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed viewing it, getting a shot she felt good about sharing and uploaded it. Nice interactive way to finish on.

I really love the concept
I really love the concept, but the instructions should be included in the box and not just online. There was a difference between what was online and some videos you put out a couple years ag - some real versioning issues. We couldn't get ours to work right at first and my son was really sad and it sucked. We eventually got there, but the online documentation was really confusing and inconsistent.
