Avoid this establishment like the plague. Maybe it's a decent place when there are no global pandemics abroad, but as it is they will give you a totally unrealistic quantum of the the most insipid, tedious, menial work imaginable just so they can offer online classes to their clients. The job they give you is not the one advertised, and it is far inferior.

Extremely unprofessional. I am not happy. I had an interview arranged for 11:00, it arrived at 11:12, and I had received no call, after I messaged, they excused themselves by suggesting I check my connection. (My connection was fine), and that they were waiting. I should have received a call at 11:00 regardless, as they did not attempt to call, only message. But yet, when I replied to their suggestion of checking my connection, they replied straight away?!? They closed the conversation with, “okay, never mind”. This is not a company you should work for, extremely unprofessional!
I really appreciate my second year doing real ESL teaching at Premier English. I learned a lot about how to control a classroom because they don't use Chinese assistant teachers. The people were friendly and there is great work-life balance. Besides my first few weeks I never felt really stressed.
For me, Qingdao was also much less intimidating that Beijing where I was previously.
I recommend Premier English, especially to young people and those who want to get some experience in an easy-going environment.
I have worked there since September 2018. I have found the school to be a great place to work. The schools are very well set up to allow teachers to successfully teach and get progress from students. The management are very helpful and will help you develop every step of the way. Great school.
