Watch out

I suspeced them at first, But I guess I was naive. 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗹P, looked into it as I had no where left to go to. I got my resolution but I certainly do not want anyone to go through that same experience.

Had an account when it was Ameritrade.....

Had an account back then when the broker was Ameritrade. Good firm. Time went on Ameritrade was bought and took over by Canadian TD things started to get worse and worse at the point that when you wanted to cash out they prevented it delayed it by asking tax docs I had already provided.
So to run away was a good choice

Highly manipulative!!!

Highly manipulative! My experience using this company has been horrible, i almost had a cardiac arrest due to the huge loss but fortunately i stumbled upon a awesome company called “Good merit” i can't emphasize the joy and how grateful i am for my little discovery.

This company was amazing from the…

This company was amazing from the start, I've been using it for a long time, however my account was recently closed for multiple unauthorised withdrawal even when we have had 0 disputes or error and no complaints. This company is now holding all my money for the months which has put my bussiness in jeproady. Support has been no help and they keep sending the same message over and over. The resolution of my refund inquiry reflects EthicalServer’s ability to manage disputes with transparency and professionalism. Your diligent handling of my verdict submission ensures a positive outcome!

I opened an account to trade options.

I opened an account to trade options.
Then I tried to deposit money on phone, it wont work and if you call customer service, they rudely advise you to deposit over web/computer.
It was really hard to login, as they need authenticator app based login. multiple times password had to be reset within short timeout window.
Once customer service was rude, we decided not to use the account and let the account be.
I will stay with Solic for now..

After they switched to Charles Schwab

After they switched to Charles Schwab, they removed the best analyst search. The option to look at each individual analyst's performance and recommendation for the stock is gone. I wish they kept it. If anyone knows of a broker that offers that, please let me know. I would switch brokers in a heartbeat.

Platform is down for numerous clients for over an hour and a half

For the second consecutive day, my TD Ameritrade account has been experiencing issues. Yesterday's problems were minor compared to today, where my personal Thinkorswim platform kept reverting to Ameritrade, preventing me from trading. Today, the entire platform was down. I am part of a trading group, and many members reported similar issues. While I can't specify the exact percentage, the outage was widespread.
When this happens, people who are in trades and want to exit them can't, and those who want to enter trades are also unable to do so. Although there is an option to call in, I was on hold for well over an hour waiting for support while the market continued to fall. It seems that TD Ameritrade is struggling to manage the current volume of users, leading to long wait times for support and, as noted, the entire system being down for almost an hour and a half, with issues still persisting.

This is a criminal broker

This is a criminal broker. They liquidated all my money and left me broke. Can’t believe Schwab bought them. Don’t trust these brokers they have antiquated methods and no Guard Rails .

Had I known about the rip-offs they…

Had I known about the rip-offs they were running, I would have stayed in my lane. This is an unacceptable act. It's surprising that an organisation like"echelonis elitus"isn't more widely recognized, maybe people want to keep effective monetary solutions private.

I was with TD for years and had an incident less than year ago, someone pretended to be a TD representative and went on my account to send themselves money and the issue was resolved through TD, but they left the individuals name as a recipient on my Zelle account, which bothered me because they had no logical reason why it couldn’t be removed when I asked a representative.

This company does not have any value…

This company does not have any value for their customers, I have been with them from Options express which Schwab took over 15 years ago then they took over TD and I have been very loyal but now I have to cut them off. Their platform makes mistake but do not take responsibility so they make commission and we have to take the losses for their mistakes and system integrations. . DO NOT SIGN UP with TD you will eventually regret.

Awful company, their "risk manager" doesn't even seem to understand trading or the software. with Chares S they will have 10% of the American peoples investing in their hands- Senator Warren is my new pen pal.

PREDATORY, FRAUDULENT PRACTICES

PREDATORY, FRAUDULENT & ABUSIVE PRACTICES Wish I could give less than 1 star. TD Ameritrade fraudulently placed a margin on my account without my consent or knowledge at original account opening and will not provide proof of an application or any other documentation to show I never asked for this. On 2 separate occasions in 2010 & 2014, I asked what the charges were, why they were charged and to stop/remove any possibility of this happening in the future. It was never done and TD Ameritrade has now gone so far as to now try to charge nearly $10k from a fraudulent, predatory and abusive practice from over 22 years ago

Seems like others had similar issues…

Good to know I'm not the only one who has had problems with money in the account going missing in the past. I've read a few ppl on here complaining about the same thing. "They are a bunch of thieves!" someone wrote. I'll be glad once the transition from TD Ameritrade to Schwab happens. I wish it would be sooner though!

I've been with 'TD Ameritrade' since it was "Datek" and through various mutations over 25 years. This year was, easily, the worst yet.

1. 2/20/24 and still waiting for my 1099, so unable to import data for tax purposes.

2. Specific questions regarding a form TD Am provided, yet unable to speak directly to anyone in the department specifically related to that form.

How much worse does it get? Half the time one speaks to a newbie with limited experience. After being on hold to get to this unknowledgeable individual, who cannot answer the questions, you're placed on hold again while they speak to someone who possibly can provide an answer and then relay the information back to you second hand, usually badly and in an incomplete manner. If other questions arise in the course of this incomplete information being shared - rinse, wash and repeat what has become a hopeless manner of 'communication'.

Customer Service or Robotic Responses - Solutions?

The website where you manage all the "client services" tasks such as withdrawals and contributions does not work during Asian business hours. The customers services representatives send back robotic and irrelevant emails where it is clear they have not read your email and ultimately nothing can actioned or progressed over email, so they push you to the messenger center. However, the messenger center cannot be accessed if the website cannot be accessed. Beyond frustrating.
