I strongly warn everyone to stay away from T.C Roofing.
They took half of the payment before starting the job and began work much later than promised.
When they claimed the job was done, they demanded payment even though the site was still messy, with debris and a skip left in front of my house. I refused to pay until the site was cleaned up.
They eventually cleaned it, but never sent the receipt as promised. Moreover, when I inspected the roof, I found broken tiles and poor workmanship.
I called them back, and they asked me to keep the scaffolding up for a couple of months, promising to return and fix the issues. However, the scaffolding company eventually removed it, and T.C Roofing kept making excuses.
They also wanted me to sign a waiver, stating that if any additional tiles got damaged during repairs, I would be responsible.
This is a highly unprofessional and dishonest company. Avoid them at all costs. When paying cash, make sure to record the transaction. They ask for payments into other people’s accounts. Always insist on a proper invoice before making any payment.
If you do some deep research online, you will find that many others have had similar problems with them.
I’ve now hired another roofer to document their mistakes, and I’m taking legal action against them.

I asked Terry at T.C Roofing (based in Croydon, London). to replace the guttering around my property. It was worse after he completed the job. During the rain it was leaking along the joins and spilling over the sides. I had to get someone else to redo the entire guttering. He would not give a receipt and demanded cash before the job was done.
