I initiated my original request for service from TaxRise with Martim Varela. He told me after I paid the initial down payment that my tax liability with the IRS would be $0 due to my debt to income ratio. I went ahead at that point and paid the additional cost to acquire their services. $2,000.00 total cost. I was then contacted by Brady Pincura. The whole story changed and I ended up owing the full amount plus penalties and interest reaching a total of $9,094.10. A 102 month payment arrange of $130 per month. So it went from $0 liability to $9,094.10 liability which includes all penalties and interest no savings whatsoever from the debt I owe to the IRS. Don’t trust Taxrise they were not honest with me. What they initially told me was just to secure my business. 😢👎

First, they removed the Yelp reviews that showed one star and were bad reviews. That’s sign of a bad company. They’re thieves, liars, deceptive. Do not use this company. I paid them thousands of dollars to help me with my tax relief. They just took the money and then didn’t do anything, and now I owe more money to the IRS than I did before because they told me to not make payments to the IRS until they finished. I reached out to the IRS after I got a notice, and they said that they’ve never heard from tax rise on my behalf. I talked to Carla Hernandez, who tried to inform me that I agreed to the payments and arrangements that was set, but there were no payments or arrangements set because they didn’t do anything. And now they say my case is done and they won’t refund my money even though they did nothing for me

Give Kyle a raise! He was patient, worked around my schedule, explained things in lamen so an uneducated person in this subject could understand!

Jillian was the first Representative that actually provided me with a resolution plan I’m being garnished for state taxes and they have been filed but still being garnished continually 1 year in 10/26. I’ve been contacting Taxrise with no resolution for the past four months In St frustrated. Thank you Jillian! We need more representatives like you to get the job done give her a Raise!

They are very unprofessional and rude . Take along time for a call back. But move fast when it’s time to withdraw money from your account. Can’t get a hold to an agent and can’t speak with a supervisor.I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I was concerned that I was waiting for filing to be done for many weeks with no progress. But when I talk to a live agent, she took plenty of time to explain the situation and the entire process and even to interview me before later resolution.

She was polite and very helpful at what she was doing to help me,she needs to keep up the good work I give her 100 percent

This team has been nothing but amazing. Gustavo C is an excellent employee and an upstanding person and can help with anything.

Well to start off they lied about what I owe and was saying I owed millions of dollars, that someone was using my name.. Also claimed, when I filled the year before that I claimed I made 4,900,000 !!!! But no biggie they said we will fix it. Seriously I can't make this up. So yeah they kept my $500 initial payment. But they actually did nothing except fabricate a story to tell me to try to get me to higher them. Biggest scam ever I don't understand how anyone can say they're a legit company. That was the most shady experience of my life.

I didn't give them time to do what they said they would do , they did for me what they said they would do .Tyler followed up own what was promised to me. Tyler is great to work with.

I wish zero stars was an option I really would have loved to see if this company worked out for me. However, I received emails and phone calls to set up an account, which I did. Without even speaking to anyone or giving permission to start the process, I received a phone call saying that my account is past due! Called immediately to cancel that. What a scam! It would've been nice to know if I even qualified first without getting threatening phone calls.

Tax rise is an amazing service . Every single team member I have interacted with has been top notch . Professional , personal and incredibly compassionate . At first I. Hesitated to have them take on my case- I was flat broke going into this situation and then as to that a two year looming tax debt with both state and irs breathing down your neck. I felt hopeless - tax rise helped me to be able to see “the light at the end of the tunnel” and be able to make a fresh start . It was money well spent and I can’t say enough good things about these people .

As this initial phase of induction has concluded, Etic Entezam handled her scope of responsibility with the highest level of professionalism. She was also able to maintain a sense of humor when appropriate. I will not hesitate to recommend her if the opportunity arises in the future.

Terrible experience! Place is a scam . I ended up paying 6375.00 more than what I owed on taxes. Empty promises and lies. The unpleasant, indignant person told me you can’t do anything your case closed and you’ve already left bad reviews . She was condescending and did not care. She is allegedly in charge of quality assurance. Any one with bad experience. Please file a complaint with the FTC
