Taxi tricks beware.
Yesterday I reserved a taxi with Korthout a large firm in Tilburg.Because the appointment I was going to was important to me(getting a passpport) I called just before
to confirm.To my great surprise I was told that I could only pay in cash(I wonder why!)rather than a card as is
almost universally allowed in taxis here.This was a
disaster for me which could have been avoided with prior knowledge of this information.Be warned!
