I used this app. It showed an amount that was higher than what the 1 minute FinanzOnline wizard shows and after I applied using this app I received the same amount but now I have to pay 20% of it for no reason!

I am normally not someone who feels the need to write negative reviews, but it is unbelievable what they do to customers. I have been waiting over 9 months for my tax return, all of a sudden I could not access the app and my infos any more and every time I tried to reach out to the company, they told me that their system shows no issues. Now, since some weeks they just do not reply at all anymore!! I have had nothing but headaches with them and nothing else. At this point i will seek legal support!

I've been waiting for my tax refund roughly 1.500€ for about 3 years now. Support team isn't helpful at all. They keep claiming they never sent anything to Finanzamt even though FinanzOnline proves to me the amount was transferred into their account. I've tried my best to be patient and understanding but you guys are right. It is mostly a scam as far as my experience goes. I advise you to do the same. I'm now taking legal actions against them. If you find yourself within Austria you can sue them for not paying. If the amount sued for is below 5.000€ you can do it by yourself without legal representation a.k.a lawyer. Just submit the online form for Mahnklage at any court within Vienna preferably Handelsgericht since Taxefy is responsible for it. And hope for the best. I have plenty of proof they haven't paid me so gather all the evidence and go straight to court. Support team will only delay you. I'm filing for financial and emotional damages as well, hopefully the Austrian court/judge will approve it. If not I'm fine with just getting my tax refund back. It's insane. The tax refund is rightfully mine, I worked in stress for it. I had funeral costs from my parents and the money would've been helpful but instead it sent me further in debt. I'm currently suing them for the amount they owe me and hopefully Ersatzschäden or something. But I'll be happy with the 1.500€. It might not be a lot to most people but it would be really helpful for me.
Oh also be careful within the Austrian law you can only claim that within 3 years. After 3 years it expires and you can do nothing against it...except maybe with a lawyer. Not sure
Complete waste of time, waiting for over half a year and they didn't even submit anything to the financial authorities yet. the lady on the phone is absolutely useless, i don’t think i’ve ever dealt with such an incompetent company. Waste of time and effort, will go to the consumer protection and make sure everyone knows about this scam

This app is complete ass and a waste of time, from what i've read, you do the questionaire, then wait endlessly until they suddenly reset the 'progress' for the tax return.
