Taxcalc and Engager
I rang the sales line to try and ascertain if I needed upgrade the product. I asked about the link between Taxcalc and Engager and listened to Edwin typing the query and sending to someone else and then he proceeded to repeat what they typed back. Spoke to Katrina who then explained that to link the two products the data all needs to be in the cloud and it is currently only linking standing information

Thank you for your comments. You are correct that the integration between TaxCalc and Engager does require the TaxCalc database to be accessible via the cloud (requiring the Cloud Connect service). It is currently syncing standing data although much deeper integrations are being actively developed and will be released throughout the coming months.

The occasional issue has always been resolved with their Support people without any fuss. We've used Taxcalc for about 10 years now.

The software installation would not recognise my new license
The software installation would not recognise that I had a valid license and it took nearly an hour on the phone with waiting and talking to customer support to resolve the issue.

I have used Taxcalc for at least 6 years and find it brilliant and simple and very helpful. I did have this year a lot of problems getting the software downloaded onto my laptop but the person at Tax calc was very patient, reliable and constructive in assisting me over the hurdles.
It would help if the type size could be made a little larger to take account of those with poor eyesight
