Worst company ever I have ever seen. Please don't buy any insurance from them at all..

Their services are hopeless, inefficient, total wastage of time and have no customer empathy. False commitments, deadlines, communications, dilly dallying, delaying of matters, no credibility are all their features.

Worst insurance I have ever taken

Worst insurance I have ever taken. I regret it now. I took health insurance for my mom I paid almost 1 and 1/2 lakhs and when I need it they are just giving some illogical reasons to not approve the claim. My mom was admitted as she was fainted and had injury in her head and they are asking documents for asthma just to reject the claim. I m going to close the policy. Worst insurance ever. If I have a negative rating i would give that.

Never ever buy a health insurance from…

Never ever buy a health insurance from Tata AIG. They approve health insurance policy only for the once who are completely healthy at the time of application. If they find even minor issues during medical checkup, their immature Underwriter team (who consider them more knowledgeable than an MD doctor) will reject your application after giving illogical reasons. This company did this with me wasting my precious time for 2 weeks. I realised that this company does not want to help a person needed during any medical urgency. Also, better go for companies who are standalone in health insurance business only.

I am filing this complaint due to unjust denial and improper handling of my motor insurance claim by the insurer despite holding a valid comprehensive policy.

My vehicle met with an accident resulting in severe damage including deployment of airbags. The vehicle is currently lying at the authorised workshop and has not been repaired. I immediately informed the insurer and fully cooperated with their surveyor and investigation team providing all details and documents requested.

However the insurer has rejected my claim stating that their investigation team was unable to identify who was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. This reason is arbitrary assumption based and not supported by any specific policy condition. There is no mandatory requirement in the policy to provide CCTV footage or a police case in every accident especially when the loss is genuine and undisputed.

The accident was real damages are evident and there was physical evidence inside the vehicle including blood stains on the driver seat from a co passenger injured during the incident. Even the person collecting samples during inspection sustained an injury while taking samples indicating the severity of the situation. Despite this the insurer chose to deny the claim instead of assessing it on merits.

The claim process was prolonged lacked transparency and ended in rejection without fair justification. This has caused me significant mental stress financial hardship and loss of trust.

I strongly believe the claim rejection violates principles of fair claim settlement and is an attempt to avoid liability under a valid comprehensive policy. I request IRDAIs intervention to review the insurers actions and direct them to reassess and settle my claim fairly as per policy terms.

I am attaching all relevant documents including the rejection letter policy copy and photographs for your reference.

Customer care don't pick up nor call back

Future Movie Name - Best Fraud

There is not any option for feedback in minus.
I had very bad experience with TATA AIG.
I paid always for full medical coverage and when you are going to claim. You have to pay more then 20% of your hospital invoice.

The insurance is useless when you actually need it

I live in Germany and my parents were visiting me. They had the premium travel health insurance for their trip to Europe. In an unfortunate circumstance we needed to use the insurance and rest assured, it was a horrible experience. It has been months since the incident and we are yet to receive any reimbursement or assurance for it. So basically, the travel insurance you take for your visa application and travel thereof are nothing but false. Please get an insurance from a company based in your travel country. This is what I have done for the travel of all my family visiting Europe.

Very bad experience with Tata Aig

Very bad experience with Tata Aig , I have paid two premium of 50000 each. After reading about them I decided to not continue with the policy. Initially I was informed I will be able to withdraw my money after 2 years now they are saying they will only return 1/3rd of my principle amount. Such a fraud company never ever invest with them

Worst customer/after sales service

they have the worst call center/customer service dept.

they literally harass the policy holder. I wanted to get vehicle insurance renewed , I proactively called them on 15 Oct 2025 as the policy was due for renewal on 1 nov 2025 so that every thing is timely.
The Agent who had originally done the policy made a mistake in the name of the company so we were not able to make the payment with the link as the name was mismatched with PAN card.
I raised the request for name correction on 16 oct and till today I am continuously calling and following up but each agent again and again raise a new request and there is no correction till now.
I had already gotten the email ID changed still they kept sending email to the old (not in use) email ID.

now today on 27/10/2025 when I called agent said that there are 2 policy numbers for 1 policy I dont know how.
the paper i have for the renewal last year has a different policy number and they are processing all the request on some other/old policy number. and the entire request has to be done again, then when i escalated the call sup informed that changes are already done but he kept sending renewal proposal with incorrect/old information, creating confusion that is it safe to pay right now.
I have made a series of call from 16 oct till today 27 oct. I had to escalate the call most of the times. They have wasted my atleast 15 hours in this process.

The agents are sense less and clueless , looks like not trained properly before getting on the floor, they dont have proper information and are in denial mode for providing any information or processing any request.
they are unable to check the most simple and basic info.

Travel Insurance - Please state in details the inclusive exclusive and sections included for claims

I wonder whether we should waste our money on buying insurance as when we buy the provider says all inclusive but Sections of Law excluded. If we do not make any claims they make money but if we make a claim then there are so many new pointers that are put forward to reject the claim. We purchased a Travel guard Silver plan insurance from TATA AIG to safe guard us from any unexpected problems during our travel but unfortunately we had problems and missed out on our two day trip which was a delay by the airlines and our bookings for the two days trip in our entire 15 days went wasted. When we claimed for the same under the insurance the Insurance company rejected giving us various reasons which were not mentioned in the policy. Why sell something without giving proper details on the policy papers. I would recommend people to please take in writing from the company whats included and section there under to save you from going through this mess later.

One of the worst insurance company…

One of the worst insurance company providing health care services. i (for whole family) took their premium policy by paying huge premium amount. however, when my wife had a health issue after so many iterations/clarifications/ interview , they declined my refund
request fir trivial reasons,
which they never mentioned / asked in the beginning. this company is only good in taking premium. so be aware of this insurance company

do not purchase Tata AIG Travel insurance

I purchased my travel insurance through Tata AIG, now I am in USA, I had to visit a hospital and now I am trying to initiate a claim, the agents do not respond to my whatsapp message, I cannot even use the online self service portal as they online accept indian number and my indian number is not working. On whatsapp I have asked them 100 times about the claim status, they just say one thing, submit the documents, I am like, I have already submitted the documents twice, what more documents do you want? And they just say all the documents

My parents took their travel insurance and wanted to renew. Even for that they literally harassed my old parents...they literally have had to beg to get their insurance renewed. Since two days my father has been calling them every half an hour and still nothing. Absolutely ridiculous.
