Taste Qvevri, the wine house of BV Vino Lingua, imports directly from small Georgian family producers. We bring both classic white, red and sparkling wines and traditional qvevri-style wines to Belgium, made from native grapes such as Saperavi, Mtsvane, Chinuri and Rkatsiteli, found nowhere else. Georgia is the birthplace of wine, with 8,000 years of winemaking history and the qvevri method, recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Our wines are poured at J'ami, our own Gault&Millau restaurant in Antwerp, where guests can taste and buy them directly.

Wonderful service and a fine selection of wines!
If you love wine, this website is a dream because you can find pretty much every type of Georgian wine you can think of. Personally, I really love the Winiveria Kindzmarauli. It’s a semi-sweet red wine and it’s absolutely delicious. If you want the full Georgian experience, I highly recommend visiting J’ami in Antwerp to enjoy some amazing Georgian food and pairing the wine with the dishes. Georgia is considered the birthplace of wine with a winemaking tradition dating back over 8000 years! The traditional qvevri method, where wine is fermented and stored in large clay vessels buried underground, is still used to this day. That’s also why I really like the name of the website. With every sip, you can taste Georgia’s ancient winemaking tradition. If you want to try something new and unique, Georgian wine is definitely the way to go.
Excellent selection and service
I really enjoyed the wines from Taste Qvevri! Their website is beautifully presented, easy to navigate, and the whole ordering and delivery process was smooth and straightforward.
They have a great selection of Georgian wines at honest and reasonable prices, which makes it easy to discover something new. I also really like the connection with their restaurant J’ami — if you dine there, you receive a 15% discount code for your next wine order, which is a great extra.
Another really convenient option is being able to pick up your wines directly at J’ami, so you can avoid delivery fees altogether.
Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I would recommend to anyone interested in discovering authentic Georgian wines!
