Useful and motivating language practice app
I’ve had a positive experience with Talkpal overall. The app is practical, easy to use, and especially helpful for improving speaking confidence and maintaining regular language practice. I also appreciate the flexibility of studying at my own pace.
It may not replace full academic language training, but for daily speaking practice and motivation, it is a very useful tool.

Very good indeed! Being able to see the corrections while you chat with the bot, and also to see the text it wrote, helps a lot. I like it much better than duolingo max.

Not sure if it's me, my computer or your software but it is very inconsistant. Works OK sometimes then just stops working. Recognizes my mic then doesn't. Recognizes my input OK then stops reconition completely. In any event I need to cancel. Thanks Bob Ritter

The options to learn are varied
The options to learn are varied. Talkpal will understand your Spanish well if you have good pronunciation. The app initiates with Peninsular Spanish instead of American based dialects but this can be changed.

Best app for real speaking practice
I have been using Talkpal for a few months now, and it has really helped me speak with more confidence. The conversations feel natural, and I can practice any topic I want. Pronunciation feedback is the part I like most because I can hear my mistakes and fix them. It fits easily into short breaks during my day. Simple to use, and it actually works.
