I'm soooo glad that tales gave me

I'm soooo glad that tales gave me access to english books and the delivery is super fast! I do wish there was free delivery, at least for orders above 300 or 500 dkk for example. I mean I can literally buy another book with the charge for delivery. But other than that it's excellent and I found most of the books I've been wanting to get for a long time but didn't know where to look for them

I ordered a book, waited 3 weeks, after contacting customer service I was told it was discontinued and the order was cancelled

I ordered a book that had a lead time of 15 business days, I waited and saw on the tracking that it had been delayed. So I waited even longer. Eventually contacted customer services who told me the book had been discontinued and my order has been cancelled. A complete waste of time, and now i'm just left frustrated having waited for a book to be delivered that never existed. Its also still available on their website to purchase, and is still quoting a 3 week lead time. Very misleading and annoying.

Let me start with apologizing for the trouble you had.
We are one of very few online bookstores that offer the type of book you ordered.
The problem is, that the book is not in stock anywhere which means it needs to be obtained from the publishers own warehouse, which we do not have details on. Therefor, we do not know if the book has been discontinued until an order has been placed, and the publisher gives us this information.
This is far from perfect, and the reason why many bookstores simply, do not sell these types of books, as it can lead to issues and unhappy customers.
We are currently considering removing these types of books also.

Book with defects, but great customer support

I ordered a book, which arrived on the expected time, but with wrinkled and dirty pages inside. The book took some time in shipping and I really need it so sending it back is not an option. While I am dissapointed by the poor care on transporting/storing the book, probably is not Tales.dk fault beacause the book came from an foreign supplier.

In any case, they promptly and kindly got in contact and resolved the issue; great customer service.
