Fabulous way to build lines of communication with children!
The cards came quickly. I have a FaceTime call almost every week with my 9-yr-great granddaughter. We’ve been doing this for years, and always play a word game after we’ve visited for a few minutes. The past two weeks we have been including about thirty minutes of my asking her questions from Tales. And she loves it! Yesterday when I was putting the game away in preparation for the next game, she said, “Wait, Nanny! Now I have some questions for you!” This game has opened the door to our being even closer. It is worth its weight in gold and I am very grateful to have bought it.

Keeping a 5 year old in her seat
We have a high-energy five year old granddaughter who can't sit still. So at the dinner table, we use Tales to play the Question Game. She picks a card and I read it to her. First she answers the question, then we all do. She gives thoughtful answers, too. It doesn't always keep her in her seat, but it's helped make a lot of progress.

Their website indicates that every purchase is shipped from the USA, however mine has shipped from China. I ordered directly from their direct, legitimate website too. I’m super disappointed by this.

I love these cards
I love these cards! Had great conversations with my 9 and 4 year old grandkids. My 9 year old loved reading the questions. The 4 year old had to think a bit on answers, and some were really funny so they had all of us laughing! I haven't tried the other deck yet.

How we got our grandchildren to play Tales with us
My husband and I were visiting our grandchildren to show them our new game but they didn't want to come out of their room. So we began answering the questions on the cards with our son and daughter-in-law, their parents. Hearing us share our experiences, our 9-year old grandson came out and asked what we were doing. We told him and he joined us. Then our 6-year old granddaughter came out and asked why we were laughing so we told her about the game and she joined us too. The questions were great and gave us a chance to learn a lot about each other.

Unexpected openness with young adults
We played Tales-Friends edition while on a vacation with our young adult children and friends. I was surprised at the openness that the young adults answered the questions. A lot of laughter, but it also brought all of us a little closer because something personal was shared with all. Thank you.

The customer service is excellent
The customer service is excellent! I accidentally ordered the Kids version but wanted the Teen cards. Bruce sent me the Teen cards at no charge and allowed me to keep the kids set as well! Who does that these days?
Also, I love the products! I have ordered a set as a conversation starter and memory jogger for my 92 YO father. "Tales" is a great way to get to know people in your life more deeply - young or old! Highly recommend!
