Don't bother with this company as they…

Don't bother with this company as they have zero understanding of how people work in different countries. They only understand "ltd company" not a partnership or sole trader, so they wouldn't process my request as I couldn't prove I'm a business....which of course I can't as I'm not working as a business...there is little wonder why they are not the market leader in this space!

It's a waste of time using this…

It's a waste of time using this platform for searching freelance jobs as 99 percent employers don't even respond to candidate applications, even if you are responded, and you appear for an interview , you would find someone immatured, rude, sitting on the other side taking your "interview". The companies that are posting jobs on this platform are not at all genuine and they lack the skills to respond to candidate applications in time. Come on, you cannot employ AI for taking interviews. That's a wrong idea.

Fine for job hunting but the worst customers service ever

I have extensively used this platform for job hunting and it actually works. However, I experienced an issue with my profile and there isn't a way to get in touch with one single member of their tech-support team. I submitted tickets via email, Facebook Messenger and phone call and never got a reply. Even called to their sales department and they very attentively got my call but apparently never forwarded my request to their support team. More than a month after I haven´t got a reply from them.

hubstaff talent website is a BOGUS…

hubstaff talent website is a BOGUS company. I wrote my profile, uploaded my linkedin resume and blog, website files BUT they rejected my resume and profile saying give your actual set of services, bio and upload your actual set of videos. The hubstaff talent team is a demeaning and totally bogus experience. A wastage of time and harassing experience. I do NOT recommend this site to any freelancer.

Inefficient hiring process for freelancer

Team you're incompetent in judging developer's skills and experience. Rather than accepting your incapabilities to analyse and hire more users, you're rejecting profiles with gibberish rejection reasons.
Successful business needs great ethics and respecting individuals is the most fundamental in all of ethics.

The sucks in reviewing the profile

The sucks in reviewing the profile. They keep on rejecting profile with lame reasons I'm sure they don't even review it and then write the rejection reason. Don't waste your time to email them as well they'll not respond.they keep on telling to change profile picture and after changing 20 picture they didn't accept even one. All the other companies are accepting the same profile pic but they are rejecting my skills and pictures.

Unreliable for freelancers

Seemed well designed and all. Unfortunately even making a profile as a freelancer turns out a marathon.

Your profile gets rejected over and over without any information even if you supply all the correct information and you have many years of experience.

Freelancers beware - unstable system and dodgy companies as clients

I've been on Hubstaff Talent for about a year now. The system keeps "deactivating" my profile without any notice or even a reason. The worst part is that it is only when I try to apply for a gig that I realize that my account has been deactivated. Imagine going through all the trouble of curating the perfect application only to realize that you can't send it until the extremely slow and laggy support team reactivates your account.

Aside from that, the companies that post jobs there are super dodgy and immoral. Jobs advertised as full-time turn out to be casual hourly-based tasks in the end. Avoid at all costs! This is by far the most pathetic platform I have ever come across.

Rogue Freelancers - No Rating System - Companies Beware!

Unfortunately, I have had to give Hubstaff Talent a very bad review. I encountered a rogue web developer on the website. He caused us a world of problems. Hubstaff Talent does not even have a rating system for companies to leave feedback on Freelancers found via their system; unlike Upwork and Freelancer both of which have fully transparent rating systems.

I contacted Hubstaff Talent support and was told that they have not yet built in a rating system into their software; even though from my correspondence with the Hubstaff Talent representative it seems as if a number of companies have been asking for it.

I, for one, will NOT be using Hubstaff Talent again until there is an even playing field for companies to leave feedback about the Freelancers encountered via the platform. Otherwise, as a company we are simply leaving ourselves wide open to the nefarious activities of some very unethical and unscrupulous individuals...as we found out!

***UPDATE***
I have just seen the response from the Hubstaff Talent team to my Trustpilot review.

Firstly, I would like to commend the Hubstaff Talent team for responding quickly to my review.

Secondly, please note that my company does use and pay for the Hubstaff Time Tracking software. In fact, this is how the company made us aware of the Hubstaff Talent platform. We were happy and eager to support the company with their new venture.

However, thirdly, and unfortunately, I will not be changing my Trustpilot review of the company here or on any other rating platform; and, indeed, I think it is highly inappropriate for the Hubstaff company to ask me to do so.

I duly reached out to the Hubstaff Talent support team for their assistance to deal with the Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer.

I was informed that nothing could be done.

It is nauseating and abhorrent that this Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer is still touting their nefarious skills and services via the Hubstaff Talent platform and their unfounded negative reviews of our company still remain posted.

Surely, it would be somewhat prudent and exemplary of the Hubstaff Talent team to contact the rogue web developer (full details provided) and, as an upstanding, virtuous company, sanction him appropriately.

Indeed, I am sure you would agree, the damage caused to our respective companies by the miscreant behavior of this Hubstaff Talent founded rogue web developer, and the subsequent knock-on effects, completely negates the FREE Hubstaff Talent platform; and absolutely and totally far far outweighs the 5-20% commission charges of other freelance websites that DO have fair and transparent rating systems.

I truly hope you understand my position on this matter. I am more than happy to work with you in anyway possible to resolve this unfortunate situation.

Now, regarding the experience you had with the rogue developer. We're truly sorry about that and being in the same boat as you, I hate it when I have to work with an unethical freelancer. Even though we try to limit as many as rogue folks as we can, there are some that creep in (like what happened in your case). That's true with all platforms & communities. However, I agree ratings definitely make the platform more trust worthy. Good news is that we do have a fully transparent rating system in development right now! Our team has been working on it for the last couple of months so I expect it to go live soon.

As a precautionary measure, we always advise employers to use Hubstaff time tracking when they hire a remote team member from the platform so you can know their work quality, productivity and be able to trust someone working from a different corner of the world. Most freelance platforms charge 5-20% fee on the hourly rate + other charges.
