Completely useless

Completely useless. My first order gets cancelled after half an hour waiting with no reason given. I order from a different restaurant and they keep changing the delivery times until I have to wait 2 HOURS for a friggin Poke Bowl. Again, no reason given, no apologies, nothing!
USE DELIVEROO instead if you value your time at all

good fast delivery but food looks sometimes bad

Guys, im asking you to plase tell your gelivery heroes to deiver food in good state. i love your services, and i appreciate it, but to be honest i dont like when my pizza is destroyed or shakes are everywhere but not in the cups. just please tell your delivery guys not to drive so fast with our food. anyway speed and prices are excellent, thanks

Got scammed by takeaway...

Gave clear orders as to the change to the burger as there normally is an option to made a separate note for each pick. Paid and when i checked my order upon arrival, it was wrong. I contacted customer service and while i contacted them, i noticed that the option to give a separate note had literally vanished.
I also noticed that when it was on its way to my place, the gps location of the driver was getting severe lag and the delivery time countdown was completely inaccurate. Scamming people out of their money and trying to make a fool out of them? Absolutely shameful. I'm NEVER ordering from takeaway ever again.

I call this site a fraud *update*

I call this site a fraud. About 10% of transactions fail using a voucher code thereby rendering the code invalid. Trying again says the code has already been used. No answer from support. Don’t use these scammers!

Update: after a call the problem has been resolved. The blocked code gets unlocked after 24 hours. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere and reaching support is a nightmare. Still not very happy but 2/5 instead of 1/5 stars now.

Very annoying bug-filled site

Very annoying bug-filled site
1. One of the times before last it filled in my address automatically based on my google location and it put the wrong number !
2. I always order delivery, never take-out . Now, all of a sudden, my address was changed into the address of the restaurant! Luckily the restaurant owner knows us and he telephoned to know whether he had to deliver or not
3. Instead of being able to just log in , you have to put in a code sent by e-mail . Last time the code arrived 2 hours after I wanted to order . Needless to say I ordered through a different site

My advice: If your restaurant is running well and you've got regular customers, invest in a personal website where patrons can order directly from you .
Just-eat was a good site, Takeway has become rubbish !

I applied to work as a delivery rider

I applied to work as a courier/delivery and on the website it says that I joined the waiting list because there are many “ambassadors” in my area. Considering that I live in Brussels and here people complain about the delay and the lack of delivery rider to delivery food. In addition, after informing my data, the site says that you will be placed on a waiting list, but no e-mail is sent to you to confirm this.

Went wrong, no support provided.

I ordered using the mobile app at around 17h46 (Confirmation of TakeAway).
App was stuck on "9 minutes delivery time" since 18h17 (mind that already 31 minutes lapsed).
Got a phone call from the carrier at 18h48 that he is waiting outside the restaurant without any news about my order.
At 18h51, the order was marked as delivered in the application. Was still on the phone with the carrier (on hold)
At 18h59, the carrier informed me that he still didn't grabbed the order.
At 19h20, I still didn't had the order, but notified the support.
At 19h32, the carrier was at my door with the order.

Order time: 17h46 (App time 17h45)
Delivery time: 19h32
Time to delivery: 1h46 (106 minutes)

What's the worse ? Got a reply today (17/02 at 14:30)
that I quote (Translated)

"Dear customer,
I thank you for your fidelity and trust.

The delivery service did confirm that the order D4**** has reached you at 18h49.

Apologies for disagreement.

Unable to be contacted

We recieved a charge for 58 EUR that was unauthorised, to then learn that this company has no contact info for regular people, just media and investors. Now there is no way to get our money back or get more information, since this company can not be contacted. I would reccomend staying away, as if you have any issues, you will not be able to reach them at all.

Order cancelled, no refund

Cancelled an order before it was processed. Still got charged on my card. Have sent 3 emails to their support email, and only get automated replies. The lack of customer support for this big of an organization is ridiculous and outright predatory.

Possible Scam

I ordered through them and they delivered an incomplete order. I asked them to correct the order or refund me the delivery costs but they refused. Their excuse was that it was the restaurant's fault, so they are not responsible.

Customer service was horrible and their employees were constantly hanging up on me and mocking me. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior.

I believe that takeaway is probably in cahoots with the restaurant and they are running some sort of scam, where they list non-existent items to trick people into ordering and paying extremely high delivery costs, which they later refuse to reimburse on the basis that customers received a partial order. Then, they refer to some sort of a made up policy, that they can't themselves quote.

Don't order from their service unless you want to get scammed.
