Bad customer service with very un professional customer services agents, will keep you long waiting &each one transfer to other agent, in the end it is customers who lost their times.

Tabby doesnt verify email addresses when creating an account. Therefore, a scammer made an account using my email address. When alerting customer service about this they dont seem to understand and want all my personal details. Why? It wont match the account anyway! Just send an email verification email so that the account needs to use a diff email address as it cannot enter the code.
This platform will be misused by bad people in no time with this policy.
PLEASE have better security!
Edit: Answer of tabby seems AI that doesnt understand. I dont want to add anything to my account. I want them to delete my email from an account a stranger created.

I am sharing my experience so others can be careful.
I accidentally paid a DEWA bill of AED 300 through Tabby because it was saved on my Apple Pay. The payment itself was not an issue. The problem started later.
After almost 2 months I noticed Tabby was deducting a minimum amount every month and also charging rollover/late fees. I never selected any installment or minimum payment option. I contacted their customer service and asked a simple question — please show me the date where I chose minimum payment instead of full payment.
For 10+ days I contacted them daily through chat. Every time a new agent joined, sent the same welcome message, and repeated only one line:
“our technical team is checking.”
No one could show proof of my consent. One agent even admitted that since my card details were already saved, the system should have deducted the full AED 300, not minimum payments.
Out of frustration I cleared the full amount. While making the remaining payment I also saw a 1% extra charge for credit card, which was never clearly informed before, even though I have been using Tabby for years.
Ironically, after I finished paying everything, I suddenly started receiving calls saying “we received your complaint.” For 15 days nobody contacted me when I actually needed help — only copy-paste replies on chat.
This is not about AED 300.
The concern is:
• deductions without clear authorization
• no transparency
• delayed customer support
• repeated automated replies instead of real help
Please check your statements carefully if you are using buy-now-pay-later services. Small amounts are easy to ignore, and that is where problems start.

I am giving Tabby 1 star for merchant onboarding.
Tabby did not approve my onboarding because our trade license was under 2 months old. This requirement was not communicated upfront, yet the system still allows merchants to complete the full form and submit. If the outcome is predetermined, the form should not be open for submission.
After escalation, I was told Tabby would only consider onboarding if we can prove 200K plus monthly transaction value through another payment gateway. That requirement defeats the purpose for many legitimate businesses. Merchants approach Tabby because customers ask for BNPL, not because merchants want to add higher fees and extra operational complexity when card payments already work.
The worst part was the human experience. Getting a clear answer from decision makers felt like chasing shadows, and when management was finally reached, the behavior was rude and dismissive in verbal conversations. Earlier, the tone felt welcoming and eager to onboard. Now it feels like merchants are treated as if they are asking for a favor.
At one point, I was advised to open a new business to get approved. Asking a company to create a new legal entity just to pass onboarding checks is an unacceptable recommendation.
If Tabby has strict eligibility rules, they should publish them clearly before merchants apply, including trade license age and monthly volume requirements, and provide a transparent checklist to qualify. This experience was not professional, not supportive, and not respectful.
I recommend other BNPL like Tamara.
