Bought 2 16ct boxes from menards

Bought 2 16ct boxes from menards. So far they're junk. All ballasts are exactly the same. I canove them from fixture to fixture and sometimes they'll work in one but not the other. I've used Feit in the past and will be sticking with them moving forward. Never had an issue with another brand of direct replacement led bulbs.

Just a simple LED light bulb

Bought a pack of (12) 8.5 watt 800 lumens 2700k bulbs. They have all failed WELL before their rated time. (9-18 months of use) If Sylvania can't even get a simple light bulb to work as it should. I certainly won't be buy anything of value from this company. Let alone light bulbs!!

Utterly useless warranty

I have one of their fairly pricey dimmable LED retro-style light bulbs that was installed about 6 months ago and has started flickering violently. I figured, no big deal, Sylvania is a quality brand that certainly will stand behind its products. HA! What a joke! Here's what they label the link to their warranty information -- "Warranty Made Easy". I think they're trying to be sarcastic. No rational person would ever file a claim. It's too difficult and expensive. Most importantly, they require that you return the bulb. The return shipping will likely be nearly the value of the bulb. You can't wait for others to fail similarly and return them en masse to save shipping fees due to having to begin the return process within 30 days of the failure. Lastly, they want a receipt. I could provide one, but I'm sure most buyers cannot locate the receipt for the light bulb they bought months or years ago.

Here are their full requirements:

"To make a warranty claim, the Customer shall notify and RETURN the defective Product to its local Feilo Sylvania office during the Warranty Period. All claims must be made in writing by email to the Customer’s local Feilo Sylvania office WITHIN 30 DAYS after discovery.

The Customer will be required to provide a documented record of the installation date, and installation location of the Product and the claimed failure. Furthermore, receipt, invoice or other proof of purchase will be requested to accredit the Product purchase and date.
Feilo Sylvania reserves and has the right to examine the Product to determine the cause of failure and patterns of usage. If, for any reason, the defective Product cannot be returned, Feilo Sylvania may require that one of its representatives be given access to the installation in order to, carry out the necessary quality inspections to determine the claimed failure cause. Alternatively, and in order to help Feilo Sylvania determine whether the Warranty applies, Feilo Sylvania reserves the right to request that its Customer provide their incident log book showing proven defects on the basis of which they wish the Warranty to apply or any other elements that would support their warranty claim.
If the above mentioned documents, information and access provided by the Customer are not sufficient to enable Feilo Sylvania to confirm the validity of the warranty claim, Feilo Sylvania reserves the right to ask the Customer to provide additional documents, information and access or anything else as may be required by Feilo Sylvania."

Don’t want to get it right, just want your money.

Purchased new headlights via Amazon for our sprinter van while vacationing in Mexico. To be delivered in OR. When we arrived home we attempted to install the lights but were sent the wrong set. The configuration was completely different.
I contacted Sylvania via Amazon to exchange for the correct pair and was told “no, it’s past 30 days, no exchanges, no refunds”. I wrote a review on Amazon but it was denied due to being about the seller not the product. Apparently there is no recourse if a company has bad policy on Amazon. Now I’m stuck with $78.00 headlights that don’t fit. We will never buy the Sylvania brand again

I bought some 9006 LED power sport from…

I bought some 9006 LED power sport from Sylvania because of their 5 year warranty. Thinking it was going to be high quality. Less than a year and they're already dead. I paid $100 for them. I could've bought some cheap leds for $50 or less that would've lasted the same amount of time. When I submitted a warranty claim, now they want me to dig through my receipts to find the receipt. In addition, they wanted me to cut the LED bulbs and send them photos. What a POS of a company and product! It's been 3 days since I've submitted the receipt and photos they requested and nothing yet! Stay away from their CHEAP products!

Avoid their lamps

I am afraid I would advise anyone considering purchasing their LED Lamps (GU10 in my case) to look elsewhere. Claim 25,000 hours (25 years) but in my case most of them have failed after less than 8,000 hours over 18 months - they ask for proof of purchase which I unfortunately can't find, should have a date code or similar on the pack or lamps but can't see it.

After lamps have failed the body remains extremely hot if power is on, which is worrying and obviously they are still consuming energy, not good for a supposedly green product.

Good light, v poor electrical & mechanical design.

Bought Sylvania T8 5Ft LED batten for garage to replace fluorescent tube. It's a good light with low power consumption. The positives stop there! The brackets to fit it are flimsy - just about OK given you through t away when the bulb eventually goes. The electrical connections are VERY poor quality. On the back of the unit you have to try and make the connections whilst balancing the light (some how) before clipping into brackets. The spring electrical connections don't work with my garage lighting cable - the wires are stronger than the connectors! I had to fit a smaller 18" length of cable to the light (at ground level), then mount the light and connect to the garage wiring via a spare junction box that I had!

Sylvania, a poor lamp

I bought a T8 led 2x18 wat 1.2 meter long. First time in my life, the light bulbe house is located on the cover instead on the body. It's difficult handling and dangerous install

Poor Design of LED Sylvania Strip Light Fittings.

Sylvania - IP20 LED Batten 0045159 - 16W.
I purchased one of these lamps months some ago from Wickes. Although the light works very well, I am very disappointed with the quality of the mounting brackets. When I came to fit the lamp in them as set out in instruction 9b - by merely pushing them into the brackets as I interpreted it – both brackets fractured on one side - totally unexpectedly – rendering them completely useless and with no other visible method of securing them.
Upon closer examination they are clearly very poorly designed and totally inadequate in my view for this method of fixing. There is hardly any radiusing on the corner of the bracket that would allow them to ‘flex’.
Over 6 weeks ago I e-mailed the company and followed it up with a chaser, about the quality of this product and not received any reply.
