Company Engages in Fradualent and Deceitful Business Practices
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Two weeks after ordering a transmission, I was told it was on a trailer and a tracking number would be made available shortly. When I asked what carrier was being used so I could call them directly, I was told a tracking number was not available. I've worked in the shipping industry for almost 15 years, so I knew this was a lie. A tracking number is generated as soon as freight is put on a trailer. I started researching this company and found some disturbing facts. Ended up canceling my order and was charged 25% restocking fee. Will dispute with credit card company and see where it ends up.
In 2017, the Wisconsin Attorney General filed a complaint against SW Transmissions for deceitful business practices. Just google SW Transmissions and read the complaint.
DON'T DO IT!
They took the money for the transmission and then delayed over a month and a half, would not get me to anyone who would answer a phone or return my call. Today I was able to get elevated to a manager who looked further into the concern. They screwed up the transmission in the process of rebuilding, blamed it on the shipping department and refused to tell me until today which they just informed me was going to result in a refund. Absolute horrible experience worst customer service. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

The world need to know SW Transmission also online known as Quality Used Transmission is a nationwide scam. Either you get junk parts or lose your money. I don't see how the Feds haven't shut them down. If you purchase something from them after reading this review, it's your own damn fought.
Bad company to deal with
They need to get quality parts like they advertise. I just wish I had thought and read reviews about them before I ordered my part. I ordered ot Sunday night and I went back to check on things and remembered I didn't check reviews for this company and when I did I called first thing Monday morning to cancel my order knowing they hadn't had time to do anything with my order. I was sent from person to person but finally got it canceled. My payment hadn't even processed yet and they still charged the 25% fee which was my fault for not reading the reviews but at least I didn't get taken for the whole amount of the part by receiving something that probably wasn't going to be worth it. DO NOT DEAL.WITH THIS COMPANY

I was told you have a parts and labor warranty. It is on your website you sent me a bad transmission your manager Sancho will not return. My calls have been calling for a week leaving messages sent emails I spoke with him. One time told me he would take care of my issue that day, he is a liar. Your parts department will pick up the phone after two rings your warranty department will not even pick up the phone. I have bought 20 to 30 engines from you and 20 to 30 transmissions from you down. You were going to screw me on the labor , you just screwed yourself because I will never ever buy another part from you ever again my last invoice number was 402882. You will not screw me again it’s sad when a business treats, their customers this way, and I have been a very good customer for the past 10 years.

This is the worst company ever, I purchased a transmission from them with a warranty on part and labor and it was defective. So of course when I called them to inform of the bad unit that they sent me, they did send me another one a month later. My invoice 392837. Going on months of calling. The transmission was defective. We spoke with everyone. One possible misunderstanding they were charging an extra $160 for shipping after we said there was an issue with the transmission, and that we still haven't received our refund. The woman looked and said I see a refund right here and that was for the $160 not the rest of the price for the transmission and the labor, but wouldn't talk anymore and hung up on me. I then reached out to Parts who gave me Santos's phone number and I've been given Mr Jones's phone number who never answers his calls or returns calls. This has been a nightmare, you don't stand behind your products or your company at all! I would finally like to get my money back in full. You have the invoice number right there so you have ways of contacting us to make this situation right

The first week of January I purchased a Mini Cooper S engine with 50,000 miles for 4,000 grand. The engine finally arrived mid February But the engine was unable to start up in the car this was due to the engine being faulty, having a low compression. This meant we had to send the engine back and sw transmissions needed to make a payment to my mechanic, due to them installing the engine and having to take it out because it was faulty. It took the company till the end of March to finally contact me and inform me about the next shipping of a new engine to replace their faulty one that they provided me with.

The engine finally came after ordering it in January. Looking forward to finally picking up my car only to find out my mechanic can not release my car until SW TRANSMISSIONS pays them for the first engine installation of work labour. I have tried multiple times to contact Sancho and SW TRANSMISSIONS. As a company they are very unprofessional, they lack communication, the fault any type of system in helping their customers, their engines are faulty. They need to take responsibility as a company and pay for the warranty bill to my mechanic which was promised when I first purchased the engine back in January. If anyone knows how to get hold of this company to make this final payment please let me know. But for now please never purchase something from this company they will provide you with your item 6 months later with no communication of any process and the engine might not even work. I’ve wasted 5 months of waiting for my car to be fixed

Pure scam. Stay away from SW Transmissions. I purchased a transmission from SW. Took a month for them to ship it. My car when repaired didn't need a transmission so I returned it. SW's contract does state all returns will incur a 25% processing fee plus the cost of shipping both ways. The used transmission I purchased cost $1,220.00 and I received a $425.00 refund. SW would not disclose the shipping costs. A 25% processing fee is absurd. I paid $490.00 for shipping and a $305 processing fee. That comes to $795.00! No one will answer calls or assist in any way. After multipole emails to their shipping and parts groups I finally received a refund a month after the transmission was returned. If I hadn't contacted SW I never would of received my refund. Many complaints state they never received a refund and SW give people the run around and sells not workable parts or the wrong part and is you return the part you still pay the processing fee and shipping charges for their error. At least I received a small portion of my purchase back.

I called them and asked where the transmission was in shipping and they said it would ship next friday .5 days from now. another 14 days for shipping would put my repair out 30 days, very unacceptable. I dont believe they have the transmission in the first place,
