Since my last review of this company 9/9, I received numerous texts threatening to sue me for sharing my experience; the facts and exercising my right to inform others that they never delivered services, they agreed to cancel, that they jacked up their price 24 hours before pickup.
9/12 i spoke with Finn Smith who sounds like a Patel about my refund of $157 that i still have not received and it's 9/15. Don't deal with this company. There's nothing smooth or honest about them. Call your card company directly. I wish I can attach the messages 😪 😕 😩. Sad and pathetic.

This company provides a teaser rate and then changes the price the night before the pick-up of your vehicle. They doubled the price originally quoted and then offered to give me a few dollars off the new price. It is unbelievable that a company like Smooth Vehicle Shipping can stay in business. They are criminal with their practices. When I initially searched for reliable vehicle shipping companies, there were a few vendors who promoted their company by pledging to provide an honest/accurate quote. I thought that was an odd way of winning over customers. Now, I understand. The vehicle transport world is filled with companies like Smooth Vehicle Shipping that scam you and steal your money. If the price quoted on shipping your vehicle seems to be too good to be true, save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere. Companies like Smooth Vehicle Shipping should be shut down. I never received my deposit back and I am now fighting with Capital One to support my claim. What a waste of time, energy and money. I ended up using Nexus Auto Transport. I booked them the night before I needed the car shipped and they were GREAT. I paid a good amount for the service, but I got to deal with honest, reliable people and they came through in a pinch.

I received a quick and accurate quote, and they were upfront about all the costs with no hidden fees, which is rare in this industry. Scam. Took my deposit but never shipped my vehicle. Called a week after the vehicle was supposed to be picked up to tell me they had a driver but it would be 3.5x the quoted cost. Total scam. Never heard from them again when I said I would not pay that much.
