Before joining this group, I thought my life was going down hill fast.
By Christmas 2025 I was at my heaviest of 100kg. I couldn't fit into my clothes, I felt that I needed to start planning for my old age. I had currently went from having an active life doing netball activities 5 days a week to just 1st a week. I was feeling angry all the time, not sleeping and worrying what the future held for me.
In January 2026 Substainable Change Programme pop onto my facebook page, and after watching Alex, I then signed up that day.
13 weeks laters I lost 8 kg. It hasn't been an easy journey, I have had high, and low points throughout. However with the help from my Coach Joe, who was just a call away. He helped me through those tough time when I couldn't walk, and the scales wouldn't moved. He was right by my side and he helped to get me to where I am now. Which is being more active again, starting to always think positively and giving me challenges to work towards. I never thought that I would ever lift weights , however here I am doing that and the fact that I enjoy doing this is a testament on how to become a better version of myself.
The programme is so good that you have access to lots of specialists all in one place.
Alex's morning sessions are very insightful and I try and take 1 point that could help me get through the day when we are faced with so many choices and demands.
I would recommend this programme to anyone who wants to transform their lives.
The innner circle is very positive, supportive and inspirational group that are always there if you need that extra boost or if you are unsure about things.
Why not just give it a go, start by listening to Alex on a Monday to Thursday morning and see if it for you.
You never know, you might suprise yourself.

I joined SC in January after hearing Alex on a Facebook live. I liked what he was saying and decided to take the first steps and request a call back. I joined up as I knew I needed a bit of support and I was lacking energy and motivation, I also had a health scare a few months earlier and wanted help with my fitness so I could grow older in a better place physically. I had access to a personal coach, a mindset coach and physiotherapist and was given meal plans and daily tasks . 12 weeks later I am 7.4kg down, 30 cms down and feeling so much better mentally and physically. My coach Joe was an incredible support during the 12 weeks and the advice from Tristan the physio made such a difference to my knee range. Watching Alex's lives Monday-Thurs keeps me right. I do believe this is the gold standard. It's not just about the scales, its about mindset, support, community. The inner circle group you get access to are the most positive, friendly, inspiring women and are also a constant source of support. If you sign up to SC, you will not be alone. I do believe this is a company that cares.

'I can either do 'life' or focus on my health and weight - not both.' That's what I had concluded over the last several years.
If, like me, you have a rich and full life, with a lot of responsibilities and commitments, you might feel the same!
People and relationships are important to me - I care, just often not for me.
I did realise that my health was starting to get a bit worse and future risks were becoming more likely. I also hated what I looked like and that I kept buying bigger clothes. I wanted to be present and active into the future for my children, family, friends and myself.
When I came across Alex Neilen, The Sports Dietician, and his Sustainable Change Programme I was interested to find out what he saw as 'Sustainable'. Communicating with Alex and his team was easy and I was impressed with the multi disciplinary approach and the emphasis on evidence based practice.
Throughout the programme the multi disciplinary support has been excellent and the clear focus on longterm sustainable lifestyle and mindset change has been (and is still) very effective. I have reduced my body weight by 25% to a healthy weight, increased my activity levels and ability to do the outdoors activities I enjoy, and significantly increased my confidence. And I can fit into my favourite clothes again! The individual coaching element has been key to this.

Sustainable Change kept popping up on Facebook. I watched some of the videos and things really resonated with me. I had a health diagnosis just before Christmas and knew I had to do something about my health otherwise I was going to be going into my senior years in a sorry state. I took the plunge and joined Sustainable Change mid January signing up for the initial 12 week course. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. You are assigned a personal coach and I have to say my coach Eoin has been incredible. The amount of support and contact you have is personalised to you. This is so much more than just a weight loss journey it’s a whole person support system that works with you to change your mindset, exercise, nutrition, wellbeing and of course you loose weight in a sustainable way in the process. You have to be prepared to be receptive and work with the team they are all there to support and guide you, but if you are prepared to do this you will see results. I have my mojo back and will be continuing my journey with Sustainable Change as I know that with their help and guidance I will be entering my senior years in the best of health mentally and physically as I want to be living a good independent life not just existing. If you are struggling take the plunge you won’t regret it!

FROM ROCK BOTTOM TO UNSTOPPABLE
Joining SCP has been a life changer for me in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I hsd found myself at a point where my life was entirely consumed by prioritising others; I had nothing more to give, I was fading into the background and given up on investing in myself. I had resigned to the life I was now living, the old me had vanished and the smiles had become very far and few between.
I was becoming overwhelmed with juggling a flourishing business, a relationship and caring for my mum with dementia; with no time for myself I began to hit low points and the stress had not only caused depression but my health physically. I was diagnosed with a leaky gut, histamine intolerance and MCAS, all caused by the stress. The weight was steadily creeping on, I went up 2 dress sizes and my energy / enthusiasm levels were diminishing. I felt like I was plummeting into an abyss of depression with no control.
Fitness and nutrition had always been a huge part of my life and everything I now tried wasn't working beyond a handful of weeks - calorie counting, fitness apps, carb cycling, low carb, intermittent fasting - you name it I probably tried it over the past few years. I had seen my GP who just prescribed anti-depressants, tried counselling and visited a private menopause doctor all to no avail; anything prescribed or suggested just became a short term fix.
I was becoming quite desperate and at the point of resigning to the fact this was now my life.
Then . . .one morning SCP appeared on my FB page and after listening to testimonials I became intrigued by their holistic/ multi-disciplinary approach. The balancing act of my life was growing beyond my capabilites and something had to change so I took the plunge and made contact. Right from the start I felt listened to, I felt seen, I felt supported and I knew this programme was going to be a game changer for me. I put faith and trust in Alex and his team and wow, the results speak for themselves.
♡ Lost 9 kg and still losing
♡ Lost 26.5cm with 11cm off my waist
♡ The smiles, self worth and self confidence have returned
♡ I have been able to create 'me' time and make myself a priority
♡ I have found a very supportive network of people within the inner circle group
The breakthrough for me was the shift in my mindset with astounding changes for the better and this came about very early on. With this change I have been able to rebuild the closeness I previously had with my mum before I felt the role of carer was sucking the life out of me. I now enjoy spending time with my mum rather than feeling anxious at the prospect - it makes me emotional when I reflect on this change, moving away from the tears to the sound of laughter.
I was assigned a 1:1 coach, Rab, who is absolutely awesome with his constant support and advice and who deserves credit for my life change, both physically and mentally. He created a fitness and nutrition plan specifically for me and the plus side is both mum and my partner enjoy the meals aswell. The team extended to a mindset coach, a physiotherapist, a physiologist and regular check in calls to assist my progress.
I now prioritise myself as I am important; I am so much happier and stronger. By prioritising myself, not only do I get a better version of myself but everyone around me gets a happier Carol, a Carol who now has a spring in her step, a radiant vibrancy about her and who is excited to continue this journey.
NOW is the time to make that change, don't hesitate, don't procrastinate, you are important, you are worthy of more.

I followed Alex Neilan on Facebook as everything he was saying in his post made sense and had very useful tips. I was then contacted by text and had a conversation with Alex. Although sadly I couldn't at this point afford the monthly sub for 1 to 1 support I was forwarded brilliant free resources including access to the FB group and an informative cheat sheet for Fat Loss.
I really want to thank the team at Sustainable Change for providing these things even though at the moment I am not a paying customer.

Highly recommend.
Alex, Harry my coach and the rest of the team have navigated me through some tricky times since starting in December 25.
I’m a working progress in all areas.
I’m in for the long haul.
The best thing I have ever done is to invest in myself.

I made contact after viewing a Facebook post. I made contact and Alex messaged me. A little wary of scams I was nervous about entering in to ‘conversation’. I explained this and Alex sent me links to the course for FREE!! I was so pleased and have started working through it and am catching up on the recorded ‘live’ sessions. So inspiring to hear from others who have been successful
in their journey.

I have had the privilege of receiving free access to the sustainable change course! The content is extremely useful, varied easy to understand and informative. The content has lots of support linked to it and useful ways to implement changes in your life to succeed and enjoy it whilst you are doing it too! I highly recommend anyone who is looking to lose weight but has struggled with previous experiences to look at this programme which uses common sense along with understanding of the issues faced. The accredited group of people involved sharing their knowledge in a way which is easy to follow has been extremely useful to me! Thank you so very much for sharing this with me!

Popped up on Facebook, and a couple of friends followed, I thought I’d have a look as I have a few pounds to shift. The videos are really engaging, made a little spreadsheet so I can keep track of my daily goals. There’s loads of free recipes (I have a sweet tooth so looking forward to trying the snacks recipes) and the main meals aren’t too different from what I would normally eat. Love the top tip if having an apple before going out for a meal to stop the urge to go all in on the menu. And tips for buffets. There’s some great advice that makes lots of sense. Only 4 stars because it’s day one for me today so not seen results yet.

I joined Sustainable Change in January, after seeing Alex on Facebook. I was assigned a genuinely lovely coach called Andy, who has been fabulous! He has himself suffered with back problems (far worse than my own), so understands where I need to be careful. He has risen to every nutritional question/dilemma I have come up with, and supported me in my gym exercises with regular feedback on videos I send him. I want to be around for my kids’ kids, when the time comes, and want to set a good example for my girls. Sustainable Change isn’t just about the weight loss - it is so much more - it is about making healthy changes and improving on them, working to make them a part of your everyday life so you become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself.

I can honestly say that the whole experience with Sustainable Change has been transformational. I have always struggled with my self worth around my body image and weight and this programme and company have been so supportive and truly holistic in their approach to supporting my through my weight loss and change of mindset journey.
So far I have not only lost 10kg in weight and lost cms, dropped a dress size, but I have gained confidence, a better way of thinking, a group of like minded and supportive group to help challenge and support me.
The Sustainable Change team have given me 1-2-1 coaching, specialist support from Mindset coaches, Physio, Finance specialists, pyschologists, all of which you can reach out to if and when required.
I have learnt from self development programmes before, but this is a true fit to help support me explore some of the old habits that haven't served me well in the past. I am putting myself first and can truly say that the support has been worth every penny.
The focus is on making things better for not just yourself but your loved ones, through gratitiude, laughter and kindness, helping charities and pushing your comfort zones, you will feel scared but amazing as you realise what yoou can actually do!

I was stuck in a real rut and wanted so much to have the energy to lose weight and be in the right frame of mind too. I would start cutting down on food trying to be healthy on a Monday and sometime last a week but often I would be back to binge eating in a few days. I am so much of a comfort eater and it does seem to have got out of control as I am getting older. After scrolling at the weekend, I came across sustainable change and clicked on a few links, even on a Sunday I received a response. Was sent so much information and videos all for FREE. I have listened to some very useful tips from people that were the same as me, 50+ and going through the menopause. I have not listened or read all the into yet as there is quite a lot. I need to plan my week better and this includes shopping better for nicer healthier meals. Although I have not fully started, I have put in place a few changes already, swapping out toast for breakfast and moving to Weetabix and berries. Small changes but I feel more positive knowing that there is a team to help me succeed. I know it is not going to be easy as I have years of bad habits to overcome and swap out for new ones that I will enjoy, not just ones that are good for me but the ones I know I will look forward to doing.

When I joined in July 2025, I was trapped in a miserable loop with weight loss. I thought that I was fairly fit yet I was the heaviest I'd ever been. I'd slash calories, start 'strong' then the hunger would take over, I'd fall off plan, eat loads, and then I'd be back to the 'I'll start again on Monday' (over and over again). I hated what I saw in the mirror, felt self-conscious in my clothes and avoided photos as much as I could. Menopause and poor sleep just piled on top and the lack of sleep left me feeling drained and more likely to reach for quick fixes. I started to feel like my body was working against me. I didn't want to go down the fat-loss injection route, I just wanted a way forward that worked, that felt healthy, sustainable, and realistic for me and my lifestyle.
I'd seen so many Facebook adverts promising 'quick fixes' and dramatic transformations that I felt completely overwhelmed. I was worried about wasting more time and money on something that wouldn't work. Then Alex's advert came up. Something about it felt more grounded, so I checked his credentials and booked a call. I started with the paid 12-week programme, and by the end I knew I wasn't ready to do it on my own yet so I continued onto the next stage of the paid programme (EPP).
What's changed?
I've lost 7kg so far and dropped a dress size, and for the first time in a long time I actually recognise myself again. That might sound dramatic, but I'd stopped feeling comfortable in my own skin. I look more toned and I'm starting to see muscle definition, which surprises me when I catch myself in the mirror. I've learnt how important protein is and that carbs are not 'bad' - I genuinely need them to support my weight loss and health. I move so much more now, and I'm sleeping much better too. Andy, my coach has given me advice and support to improve my sleep, and its made a real difference to how I feel day-to-day, I genuinely enjoy feeling fitter and stronger.
None of this would have happened without the support of my coach Andy. There were moments, especially during a few tough weight-loss plateaus when I felt deflated, frustrated, and honestly quite scared that this was 'just how it was going to be for me'. I had days when I questioned myself and felt tempted to quit, because that's what I'd always done before. Andy's patience, consistency and kindness helped me zoom out and remember that my journey is mine alone. He reminded me (more than once!) that comparing myself to others only steals the joy and the progress. His belief in me, especially when mine wobbled genuinely stopped me from giving up.
Andy's strength training guidance has been a massive part of my confidence growing. His feedback is detailed (proper cues, technique videos and clear explanations), so I always feel like I know what I should be doing and why it matters, which is huge when you're walking into something that used to intimidate you. He also really listened to me regarding my shoulder issue as I was worried that strength training would make it worse or I'd have to stop altogether, but he adapted exercises so that I can still build strength without aggravating it. He encouraged me to get regular rehab massages, all of this has massively reduced my shoulder pain. I've gone from lifting light weights at home to using a gym and lifting heavier weights, something I never expected to be doing in my 50s and he made that transition feel possible rather than scary. He's also helped me work on my mindset so that, although I joined wanting weight loss, my focus is shifting towards strength goals rather than what the scales say. He's shared so much knowledge about nutrition and how my body works (especially during menopause). I've had personalised nutrition plans that fit my lifestyle (I work full time, so batch cooking suits me) and my food preferences. He shares recipes, checks in regularly and, most importantly, he's been my champion: helping me see my progress, my wins and how far I've actually come.
I also really appreciate how much support is built into the programme beyond the coaching. The live sessions (covering a range of topics such as developing new habits, fat loss, mindset shifts and practical tips) with Alex have helped me stay focused and feel like I'm not doing this alone. At the EPP stage I can also access live/recorded webinars with a range of other professionals such as a psychologist and physiotherapist which adds another layer of reassurance and understanding.
The programme isn't cheap and at the start I did feel some pressure to sign up, first for the 12-week programme and then for EPP. That made me anxious as it is a financial investment and I wanted and needed it to work. But when I look at where I was mentally and physically in July 2025 versus how I feel now I am so pleased that I made the investment in my health.

I got in touch with Sustainablechange to see what they offered. Unfortunately I could not afford the full course but I was given loads of free material to be able to start my journey.
