Surplus to Purpose is an amazing initiative.
Everyone is a winner. We save food that would go to landfill and we purchase food that would be thrown away but anyway had a fraction of the cost.
This week in my fruit and vegetable boxes we got a Pomelo - never had one before. It was delicious . I made a tasty fruit salad for 4 including strawberries, grapes , pear pomelo, clementines , apples and bananas- so juicy . We also got some long stem cauliflower , never had that before , so looking forward to that. I buy 2 boxes and it lasts a good week to 10 days . I usually give some food away as well.
So pleased they deliver as well. Thank you to all the volunteers and hard workers

I understand there was a high demand before Christmas and I am grateful for the doll and two boxes I've ordered, but the boxes were filled with going off veggies (lots of salad) even the general box. Had to give out half to my neighbour just so it wasn't wasted more. Otherwise it was ok for the price but definitely two boxes was to much for us. Thank you

Love the concept of this but in reality it hasn't worked for the last few weeks for us. We ordered a box expecting it to arrive on the Mon but it didn't arrive. It's tricky if you're relying on it to feed the family and it doesn't come....

Hi a box full of mainly fruit and vegetables. I have not ordered before and may not again. I have been and collected my own box before. I know it's hard to please everyone, but I need things that 3 children will eat including, crisps, potatoes, bread and cakes.

I paid for a 24 pack of coke, it didn’t arrive I emailed but haven’t had any reply.

Eveytime I have ordered a box. It has been delivered late.

The boxes used to be so good, now they are mediocre at best. My last box contained rotten butternut squash, very out of date army ration packs and very out of date tinned food. I will not be ordering again.

Really good selection of vegetables and some baked / tinned items that would have easil .cost 3x as much in the shops. Was a small problem but they rectified it really quickly. Delivery person was lovely too!

My box was delivered when I was told it would be and contained a great selection of food that would have otherwise gone to waste.

We hired Surplos to Purpose to cater an event for around 40 people and couldn't be more impressed with the service and food. Communication was easy, it was good value for money, delivery was smooth, and the food was interesting and delicious. Lots of event attendees were impressed and the ethos behind the organisation makes a really good talking point. Overall, I'd really recommend Surplus to Purpose and would happily use them again.

I received my 3rd delivery really good value for money its a shame at the moment they stopped delivering if and when you do I will be definitely ordering again

Replay easy to use, ordering online certainly makes a massive difference using this service.. especially the fruit and veg selection. Not only am I saving money the fact that its also helping to reduce waste, and I always try and pay it on, which means I can pay for a box for someone else who needs a parcel.
