The engineer was very knowledgeable , efficient and spoke me through the whole process . He also treated my home with the upmost respect and was clean and tidy and left the property as he found it

Smart Meter fitting

The engineer (Rafael Huerto) provided an excellent service fitting my smart meter. He was highly professional, arrived punctually and got the job done efficiently, explaining everything I needed to know about the job and how to use the new meter.

GLA Warm Homes Scheme

Was put in touch with Sureserve via the Gov. Warm Homes Scheme to upgrade the efficiency of my home. Subsequently was in touch the the GLA team, who were endlessly helpful.

Every contact I had with anyone on the phone was friendly and felt like people were prioritising my query.

The work was completed efficiently and promptly. Would recommend

We want to see reliable and honest engineers

I am a tenant with L&Q and I would like to share my experience regarding the heating repair service provided through their contractors.
I have been suffering from ongoing leaking radiators in my property. While the L&Q itself has been good at arranging appointments, unfortunately the heating sureserve they use has been very unreliable.
On several occasions, engineers have failed to attend appointments and I later received messages claiming there was “no access” to the property, even though I was at home waiting. When engineers do attend after complaints are made, many times the repairs are still not properly completed and there always seems to be another excuse.
There was one engineer who attended today who was very kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. I asked if I could request him again for future repairs, but he explained that he mainly works in the main office and is not always available for call-outs.
I truly hope that one day L&Q will move to a more reliable heating repair company, because tenants deserve safe homes and dependable repair services.

The engineer communicated well. EDF bureaucracy less good.,

Owen Ward contacted me the day before so I was able to give him exact directions as his visit related to a communal supply. He planned ahead as he thought there was a risk he wouldn’t arrive by 12. In the end he arrived at 11.40. He texted me 50 minutes before arrival and was on time so I didn't have to hang around on the hottest day. He got on with the job. The only delay was that edf don't seem to trust people and it took 30 minutes for them to authorise the meter replacement. Considering we’d already had 2 engineers visits and recommends to replace because the smartmeter stopped sending readings 2 years ago before it stopped altogether in Feb/March, that seemed overly bureaucratic and inefficient.

Professional, experienced, helpful guys.

I had Peter & Alan install wall insulation on the inside of the external walls.
Two really friendly, helpful guys. They were here for 2 weeks and showed up on time and worked extremely hard.
With the property being a period house they fitted the insulation whilst considering the original house features, not easy as the insulation had to be adapted to ensure a good fit.
I can already feel the benefits of the wall insulation.

Great service from Sureserve

After having smart meters installed in February they would not connect and send data.
Eventually Octopus sent out Marco from Sureserve to resolve the issue.
The solution he had been told to perform did not work but he was able to find another solution which has solved the issue.
He was very knowledgeable and also very polite.
Could not have asked for any better.

Very pleased

Had Sureserve in to fit a Smart Meter. Despite it being quite late in the day Dominic went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly and didn't cut corners. Explained it all when he was done and left everything clean and tidy. Excellent work.
