Quick, easy and supportive

The process of setting up payroll with Surepayroll was quick and easy, and it was super helpful to have a friendly, knowledgable rep available to walk me through the process. Very satisfied!

Total Liberty

So far, I have been totally hands-off which was my goal. I was in retail business for many years before services such as yours were available and I am very relieved not to have to deal with payroll taxes, etc.

Great Service - Antiquated Platform

I'm giving SurePayroll 2 stars purely for their client service and their efforts to resolve issues. Unfortunately, the platform is very limited. You can only assign 2 payroll clerks to the account, so if you have a larger company or multiple administrators, this is not the system for you. Additionally, very few of the reports are available as a csv file, and the reports that are available download in a format that is incredibly difficult to manipulate and create data tables from. If your focus is on retrieving data for payroll reports and job costing, I would not recommend SurePayroll.

Highly Recommend!

This is an automatic process that you can take off of your to do list. There are reminders so you don't miss anything. Such a simple and easy process, wish I would have found them sooner!

I wouldn't trust this company at all, sales says something else, retention team commits to things and then they disappear/vanish and leave it to clueless customer service, absolutely do not trust this company

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE…

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE INDUSTRY!!! I have used almost all payroll software over the past 40 years, and this is the WORST!!! Absolutely no follow up on resolving any issue, particular payroll tax-related issues! It would sometimes take 6-8 months for them to resolve tax issues!!! Even on the rare occassion they resolved a tax issue (or other type) they would NEVER let you know. I have been in the process of moving all of my clients off of this software and hope to have them all moved in the next few months!

Didn't go near this company

Didn't go near this company. Go with Friday, Finger check, or Gusto.

I got excited by the cheap rates and sign up promo and it was not worth it.

After 2 months one week I get a notification that I didn't process payroll even though I had the day before. I checked the history at I didn't see any pending payroll so I assumed it didn't go through. Next day duplicate charges pull out of my account! Currently on the phone for 45 minutes with an overseas employee that doesn't speak English who is charging me $70 for an attempted reversal that will take 7-11 days even though the check date is tomorrow. She actually suggested that my employee writes me a check and we both pay the payroll taxes which besides being stupid is illegal.

When things are going well and you…

When things are going well and you don't to talk to them then there is no problem.
But if something is wrong, the frontline people are useless. They are just notetakers.
The higher level people will not come to the phone if their life depended on it. For 40 minutes I asked for a supervisor or manager and for 40 minutes the rep on the phone tried to solve my problem by communicating with someone on the "backend".
Any payroll company can do payroll when things are going smooth. Solving issues is what separates the best from the rest.
btw, this was my 5th call in 10 days regarding the same issue!

I signed up with this company and…

I signed up with this company and everything was in order and ready to go. A few days later I went in to run payroll and my account had been cancelled. I called in and was told my account was cancelled and no reason given. There is not a reason I can imagine why they would want to cancel the account. Now they refuse to respond to calls and emails. I was with no reason, no help and no response. I would strongly suggest to avoid this company.
