Really quick to arrive especially on a Sunday. Less than an hour. And one job before mine even. No call out charge or out of hours addition 9 am-9pm available. I was locked inside with the key stuck in the lock- old style upvc door locking system with a key. Dan solves problems! Couldn't get the screwdriver through the letterflap - so he took it off. The house was empty as only just checking it over before moving in later so no tools of my own.
I unscrewed the handle and lock and then Dan found a new lock for me - in 25 years not failed to have the right parts on the van! Changed from a key used to double lock from inside to a small handle- safer after my experience with the key. Also in his van. Then a new lock as I felt that was safer all round as a new owner. It didnt lock properly. He found one original screw was too long. Changed it. Then the door had shifted over time so it was very stiff to operate the double lock. Dan worked out or knew from experience why. Asked me about cutting the frame back a bit to solve that. Plastic is brittle and can split warning given. But with skilled work moved the three sections and very neat job.
So impressed: With the speed; Expertise; Explanations; Friendliness; Courteousness; And a very reasonable cost for solving all that for me on a Sunday. You know you're in very good hands. Thank you.

Dan was really polite as well as being friendly and relatable. He did the job - putting in a deadlock - very efficiently and all was good. Hopefully I won't have to see him again because if I do it will mean he's had to drill a big hole in the door to let me in because I've lost my key!

Thouroughly recommend. My lock barrel broke, i waited 30 min and was in with a new lock in 45 min. He even tidied up the alignment. Couldnt have been more pleasant and very reasonable. No hesitation in strongest of recommendations.

Throughout the visit they remained in communication about the job they were undertaking (UPVC door mechanism broken). The guy had the right parts in the van, the job was done efficiently and they checked that I was happy with the work. They even adjusted the front door as it was sticking, at no extra cost! The price was about 25% less than another company quoted.

Had a problem on a Sunday with my upvc door locking mechanism, contacted surelock homes by phone and were at my house within the hour. No fuss, repair completed within 30 minutes. Changed the mechanism and at the same time I took the opportunity to have them change the key barrel as well. Friendly, efficicient and probably would have cost me the same price just to buy the parts myself. Happy that my door locks easily again! Well done! Highly recommended!

This is the second time in 4 years I have used Surelock homes . Both times the locksmith arrived within 2 hours and repaired the locking mechanism on my front door which had become stiff and then stopped locking altogether. Excellent service and would happily recommend

They come and check what the problem is and give you a normal total price for repair. No surprises! Highly recommended.

Here within the hour, not only changed the locks but fixed doors to latch properly (been hard to do for ages). Very good prices too... having been quoted by 2 other companies, one at nigh on £400, another at £200+ Surelock came in WAY under that and price quoted was price paid. (Both others were 'estimated'...and we know what that means!)
