Expensive store in Ballybofey
Expensive store in Ballybofey. Supervalu brands not too bad but all leading brands are much too expensive and they seem to have put up their prices recently.
Rip off prices
Rip off prices. Prices have almost doubled if not more. Absolutely robbing customers blind. Going to Dunne's instead.
To expensive I've gone back to Aldi👍
Absolutely gouging Irish shoppers…
Absolutely gouging Irish shoppers during a period of inflation is unforgivable. Many products doubled in price with 40% price increases typical. Add in shrinkflation and it amounts to this being a shopping expert that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
My local SuperValu Celbridge
I really like my local SuperValu Celbridge. Today I just came to get few bits and with help of lovely girls working in there I was able to find everything, they are always happy to help. Great customer service!!!!
No hand sanitizer in Ashbourne store
No hand sanitizer in Ashbourne store for months. Boxes all over shop floor, tripping hazard. Need code to gain access to toilet. Then no soap in bathroom. Filthy toilets.
In this store
In this store, Ballyhaunis area.I was mocked directly... Asking for help, only one salesperson was able to listen to him I needed it, but referred it to another, who is responsible for it,this lady did not even bother to look at me and did not let go of the phone from her hands, apparently a very important conversation during work... I had to go out to another store, because I didn't get what would help me
Prices are at least twice German…
Prices are at least twice German competition. Rip off.
Fairways SuperValu @ Blackrock Co Louth…
Fairways SuperValu @ Blackrock Co Louth deserve 5Stars for their helpfulness & friendliness. The Manager gets in stock if he can which might be different to existing stock. I have asked on numerous occasions and to my delight the stock appeared a few days or a week or so later. The girls on checkout are also to be applauded. Patient, helpful and extremely friendly. A special call out to ORLA this week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I used to do all my shopping in Dundalk running around all the stores for bargains… Now I do all my shopping @ Fairways SuperValu Blackrock Co Louth. They are deffo competing and now I still get my bargains and have buckets more time on my hands by shopping local. It’s a no brainer.
Almost empty shop
Supervalu Mullingar is a complete joke. Vegetables and fruits section offers a very bad quality products. I couldn't even buy simple things like garlic just because it was rotten. Pizza section is almost empty and this isn't the first time. Empty refrigerators which reminds me of Ireland during the famine time. It's a shame!!!
Scam
Absolutely horrendous customer service. Ordered an online delivery order that arrived 1.5 hours after the allocated delivery slot with no apology. I contacted SuperValu 3 times during the delay and was told twice that it was 10 minutes away which was a complete and utter lie! Really poor communication and completely different stories. To make matters worse I got sent a €20 off €100 voucher- my basket came to €120 but when they delivered they didn’t have some items available which took the order sub €100 and they didn’t honour the voucher. Contacted customer services 3 times who said the store would be in touch and I haven’t heard a word from them. would love to support Irish but zero respect for customers and this sniffs of a scam to me.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered a Christmas present through click and collect at Super Valu Sutton. Made the journey to collect it the next day only to be told that the product is out of stock and the reason I wasn't informed was because I'd only ordered one product. (Makes no sense). Person I was dealing with couldn't care less and just said 'I don't make the systems'. I asked to speak with a manager who proceeded to tell me how this time of year is stressful and the product I ordered is out of stock everywhere! I interrupted to tell him that neither he nor the previous assistant had bothered to apologise. I left the house unnecessarily, a complete waste of time which you would imagine could be easily avoided by stating online what products are out of stock. I am surprised by rudeness of staff and in future will stick with my current supermarket.
My first home delivery!
Just took delivery of my first online order fullfilled by Supervalue MONKSLAND, Athlone. I must say, service is excellent! Supervalue MONKSLAND has a formidable Team, on all levels, be that in the shop or within the home delivery system. I shop there since the shop exists and have never been disappointed or had any bad experiences. If you are looking for a positive shopping experience - I recommend Supervalue MONKSLAND!

Rotten Mushrooms
went in to my local supervalu and was fortified to see rotten mushrooms on display, this was around 10 am so its not like they had been sat there all day,i took a picture and contacted customer service, fair due the contacted me that day, but the excuse was another story. Sorry for the inconvenience this was probably due to a junior member of staff and that was it.
Now for me a junior member of staff could be 16 over i stand to be corrected ? but im sure at that age you would know if rotten mouldy mushrooms should not be on display, if they don't they shouldn't be working there, i requested it go to head office been ignored twice what a joke i will go futher
I wanted to extend my car insurance
I wanted to extend my car insurance, I've been with them for two years without any claim and when I asked if I could pay in one lump sum and what payment methods were available, the clerk was jerk...and hung up the phone. I guess he was in hurry...Act like this with regular and loyal customer... shame on him! It was today around 2pm. I have since switched to another insurance company.
Kimmage Dublin store excellent
The store in Kimmage, Dublin is excellent. Very well assorted, good prices, fresh goods, nice service and ample free parking.
Chorizo and potato 2 for a certain amount. We purchased these items yesterday to accompany a chicken salad, what a disappointment. Other than the chorizo it was absolutely tasteless. Insufficient area
Seriously insufficient seasonal product, bland bland bland
Swords branch as I visit there most…o
Swords branch as I visit there most often. Fruit and veg is either going off very soon or is limp looking and unhealthy. I see many other branches have the same complaint. The freshness of their fruit and veg is really terrible and more expensive than their competitors in most cases so I’d expect more! Another gripe is the constant wrong pricing- prices don’t match what you are being charged at the till which is highly annoying. When I flagged it up to the staff they were very unhelpful and blamed management. I’m constantly being overcharged and not even so much as an apology. I can’t see this supermarket surviving with all the competition out there especially with poor uncaring customer service. For me the perks are mostly the cakes and breads but that won’t save them.
