When a teacher refuses a request from a student, we carry out a personalized search. We send the request to teachers with a similar profile. If you accept, it's then up to the student to accept or refuse your proposal. If the student accepts, you'll have access to his or her contact details, and you'll be able to exchange ideas.

So I subscribed Aug 2024, until I decided on a premium membership for 99 euros per year to get more students, now it's November, and I got 0 students. The students need to pay before they can chat to teachers. I wanted to have reimbursement but they say they can't. The premium is supposed to give you a high chance to get students, following many more steps which I did. Complete chaos and dishonesty on this site.

I paid 40€ to request a class.
I booked the class, received all the confirmation messages and the teacher never show up.
I asked Superprof for a solution and they just send me a sorry email, when I asked them for a refund neves answer me back.
I have been scammed.

One good proof this is a scam. When you choose a teacher, in my case it is Erwann. The site says "We'll only be debited after the teacher accepts the request", however unfortunately the card is immediately debited and without a verified by Visa or Mastercard "otp code from card issuer". No response from teacher ever. No phone support! no replies from email support! All positive reviews below may be fraudulent, only to sustain the scam. Best thing to do is to block you card permanently, request a card replacement and request bank to issue a claim and make the merchant liable, then the Force be with us! The reply below shows exactly that it is built in a way that if no teacher replies, the pass fee is useless and the service is not rendered. Indeed well explained in your website, but I selected the slot date and time suggested by your site and it was nit honoured, and this is a robbery. If not prove me wrong and refund the fee for a service you are not rendering.

To contact the teachers, you need to pay a student pass of 39€. This pass enables you to contact all the teachers on the platform for a minimum period of 30 days, and is only activated on one condition: acceptance of a request by a teacher. Once the request has been accepted, you have access to all our services and can get your first lesson, which is usually free of charge.
This information was available when you passed through a payment page, on which we indicate that the Student Pass is a monthly subscription, renewable and with no commitment: in other words, it can be cancelled at any time.
This information is also available on our home page.
Following your registration, an e-mail was sent to you specifying the terms of your subscription, the many services to which you have access and to alert you to the renewal of the subscription (which you can cancel unconditionally, at any time, from your space).

The tutors on this site dont seem to be real. I think its a way of the site to make you pay for the pass and make you think you will be able to hire a tutor.

My teacher cancelled and we got no service and it was very hard to cancel the membership. I got charged for several months for no service. I complained and they made it incredibly hard to get refunds. I am still disputing the charges with my credit card company. I will never use them again.

once they get your credit card, they charge you $49 per month regardless of whether you use their services or not. They make it impossible to contact them, so you have to go through your card company in a dispute process. They are ripoff artists. I've reported them as a fraud, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Duped into paying £1,102 and never even took a lesson!!I was lured into a "subscription" trap while searching for teachers on a particular topic, I fell victim to Superprof's misleading communication tactics. Their messages cunningly implied that a platform fee would only be charged after booking a lesson with a teacher contacted via the platform. However, to my dismay, I never even booked or began my lessons but been charged every month since my search in 2021. In the first month, I received a solitary email mentioning the renewal, but afterwards, there was complete radio silence for over three years. Unbeknownst to me, I continued to be billed £29 per month, resulting in a staggering total of £1,102. What's more infuriating is that Superprof failed to reach out regarding my inactive account. This deceitful strategy reeks of extortion. £1,102 paid, not a single lesson taken, and an account clearly unactive. The customer care team when contacted kept blaming me for not having understood properly their business model... I wonder who does in their right mind do?? I pointed out that their initial communication was totally misleading "Remember, you will only be charged £29 for the Student Pass if a tutor accepts your lesson request"... THERE HAS BEEN NO LESSONS, NONE SO WHATEVER!! SCAM!
