friendly, welcoming staff.

I love the diligence of the staff - and always feel well informed at collection of their day.
They always come away exhausted from all of the activities - the only challenge is then keeping them awake on the way home! Haha.

Our son has attended SuperCamps at our local school before and it has been really great. This time for Oct half term it has been a disaster. Every day we pick him up to be greeted by a pile of charge sheets listing all his misdemeanours - from eating another Childs snack, to not lining up. The list is too long! We stand in judgement with a queue of parents behind us at pick up while the camp manager reads out his charge sheet in infinitesimal detail citing witnesses for each misdemeanour. My key takeaway: this half term the staff were very young and inexperienced and could not manage this number of children. Very disappointed but also a shame since previous Staff and experiences were really great.

I would not recommend Supercamps

I would not recommend Supercamps. Despite over the years discussing issues with head office several times my daughter was constantly removed from groups with her friends due to “ratio issues”. Despite me checking every time I drop her off (with yet another different camp manager) that she will be grouped with her friends the same thing happens. She’s small for her age and somehow is the only 6 yro that gets put into a younger group despite her requests to be with her friends. She’s a happy, chilled girl at school and has never cried due to any camp except for Supercamps.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your daughter’s experience and the distress this caused her, which is never what we want for any child attending our camps.

Following your initial communication with our head office team, we did speak directly with the camp staff involved. They confirmed that the Camp Manager discussed group placement with you on the morning of drop off and explained that while they would try to accommodate your request, they were unfortunately unable to move your daughter into the older group due to required staff to child ratios on the day. These ratios are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in our care.

That said, we fully understand how important it is for children to feel comfortable, confident and settled, particularly when attending with friends. We are sorry that this situation resulted in your daughter feeling upset and that your expectations were not met despite previous discussions. We have reminded all staff of the importance of escalating these situations to head office immediately so we can review group allocations where possible and explore any flexibility in advance.

We truly regret that this experience has left you feeling dissatisfied and appreciate you raising your concerns with us. Your feedback has been shared internally to help us improve communication and consistency across our camps.

Once again, please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and upset caused.

Truly awful company

Truly awful company. Broke multiple employment laws. Worst people to work for. Do not send your children to be looked after by SuperCamps. Its a scam. Awful, vile company

Out of control

The staff are very young and appear overwhelmed looking after so many children. It was a struggle getting my son to attend the camp, which was no surprise when it transpired that one of the other children was regularly biting him. It used to be good but I think they have change how they source their staff.

Chelsea and Multi camp

my children attended the Chelsea FC and Multi Activity camps at Abingdon school this summer. At ages 11 and 8 there were plenty of activities that they both enjoyed, they had a fantastic time and loved every day, would return :)

Disappointing experience with inexperienced staff

I wasn’t invited to leave a review by supercamps with Feefo so will write it here. Booked my 10 year old at St James Prep for just one day to see if he liked it. Was told very sternly at pickup there is an incident form to sign- my son had made an origami sword during art class. I later found out he had been encouraged by a staff member to make this, and to decorate it with blood, and later while he was playing innocently with it (not hurting or threatening any other children!) another staff member decided to reprimand him for making a weapon in front of the class and fill out an incident report. He came home very upset, and asking if there was something wrong with him, as he’d been made to feel there was. I complained and received no response via email. I spoke to the camp in person and they apologised and said they’d follow up with an email but never did.

Unfortunately I think the camp is essentially run by a group of very inexperienced kids who have no idea what they’re doing. The activities on offer also do not justify the inflated price. I would absolutely not recommend anyone sends their kids here, save your money and send them elsewhere!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience at St James Prep did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate the chance to respond.

Following your conversation with our camp team, we looked into what had happened. While we encourage creativity in our arts & crafts sessions, we do not allow the making of knives or swords. On this occasion, an item was created that should not have been, and the Camp Manager acted quickly to remove it once they became aware.

We have also reminded the team about the importance of how activities and incidents are handled and communicated, to ensure our approach is always constructive and sensitive. We are sorry if this was not the experience you had on the day and if your son felt upset as a result.

We take all feedback seriously and remain committed to creating a safe, enjoyable environment for every child in our care. We are sorry this visit left you feeling disappointed and offer our sincere apologies.

Not particularly welcoming

We felt the camp treated children from the private school differently to those from other schools. As a result, we didn't feel the Kingshott camp was very welcoming. The manager visibly recoiled when we mentioned the school our children went to. Some of the younger staff were lovely and outside of management were a real credit. Ultimately this felt like a lot of money for our children not to have a lot of fun. We will not be returning.

Great camp

Both my children (5 & 7) LOVE coming here and hate it when I pick them up early; they always want to stay right up to the end! (they started going since they were 3y old). Cannot recommend SC highly enough.

Both my son (8) and daughter (5) had a great time at SC in the Easter holidays. A marked improvement from last year especially for my son who loved the Zorbing and Lasertag. The talent show was a big hit for my daughter. Nice they combined year groups when there were less children.

My son loves Super Camps. The variety of activities during the day keeps him entertained and he always makes new friends.
Booking him into Super Camps is like booking him into having a little holiday. He always looks forward to going back, and counts the days until the next school break.
