Check-in to Résidence ‘Le Joker’ was not straight forward, and I could not get through to anyone on the number provided. Because I had 2 bags, I had to leave them unattended and make my way up to Val Thorens Immobilier, which was not ideal given the icy conditions. It would have been a lot more convenient if they were able to be collected from Bel Horizion, along with lift pass, which is just around the corner. Due to heavy snow (no fault of Sunweb), I was advised by the shuttle vendor, I could not get near the 3 valleys, and had to spend the night in a community gymnasium in Moûtiers. The shuttle provider also said if I chose to stay at a hotel in Geneva and arrange transport on the Sunday, I would have to do so, an attritional cost, again. The following day, I got up early to find out information in regards to revised shuttle times, to my accommodation, I was informed it would be an approx 12:30 collection. Due to time constraints, I did not wish to wait and waste nearly a whole day, so I paid to get a taxi at my own expense, which was later refunded by Sunweb. Unfortunately, on the way back to Geneva airport, I was picked up at 08:30 and arrived 11:10. My flight is not until 16:25, and I cannot drop off any bags for another 3.5 hours. The accommodation was basic, but it was reflected in the price. Upon arrival no bed sheets or towels were available, and I was informed I would have to hire from a local laundry company, at a cost of €30 odd. I would expect that after flying from the uk, these items would be included, as it was the last thing I wanted to arrange, after arriving. In addition to this, not a single bar of soap or hand wash was left in the toilet, which I would say is a hygiene risk. Karoline the Sunweb representative was extremely helpful when I contacted her, but I would have rather had a partial refund, for not getting to my accommodation on the night or arrival, and having to sleep in a gym.

I have used sunweb for all my skiing holidays. They can never be beaten on price and I have never had any issues with a holiday. Really clear with all the information, there is always someone in resort there to help. Booking is really easy and cost are obvious through the website, never been charged for anything extra.

Good price, like that everything an be included passes, equipment hire, transfers but would be nice if this was shown or at least mentioned on initial pricing

Decided to try Sunweb for a January 2026 ski holiday in Chatel as it gave me the best value for my requirements. Really easy to book and use the Sunweb app to keep all the information and documents together. The holiday was brilliant in a Sunweb hotel where the staff were very friendly and helpful, and ski hire was in the basement. So convenient. We were kept fully informed about the transfer arrangements and it all went like clockwork. Definitely recommended and can't wait for my next holiday with Sunweb.

It really has been so very easy to research and make a booking for our ski holiday.
Whilst the web site is user friendly and easy to navigate with clear description on all options, what has made it a great experience is the telephone call and on two separate occasions with Christine and Michelle.
Both are very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and efficient.
Will definitely book next year's trip if this experience is anything to go by.

Over the years I have used sunweb for a few of my family and friend group ski holidays. the process of picking and booking the holiday could not be easier.
On our most recent trip an avalanche on the road up to the resort held us back from leaving the resort in time for our transfers. once i got in contact with the sunweb team on site they set our minds at ease when they told us they would cover the costs of an extra night on the hill and new flights until the road had been cleared of the avalanche and was safe to travel.
This customer service was second to none and they even got us a beer in the hotel to set our minds at ease.
I will certianly continue to use sunweb in the future and could not recomend them any more.

Love the Sunweb website, super easy to find exactly what you are looking for using the filters. All well laid out easy to add extras, travel info etc.
The only thing I couldn't find was how much the deposit was going to be right up until I had to pay.
Apart from that all good!

It’s a well thought out site and bonus that lift pass is included. Often the cheaper hotels are in the lower resorts or further away so double check location. Happy with their service though.

Was worried using a conpany I’d not used before but needn’t have been as they were fantastic. Booked ski holiday very last minute and their price was excellent and included everything. The only slight issue we had which was no fault of theirs was quickly addressed and it was great to be able to get straight through to a person on the end of the phone. Will 100% use them again

We booked a family ski holiday with Sunweb and decided to add ski lessons and ski hire as part of the package.
Sunweb's documentation is fairly unclear and you tend to spend quite a lot of time trying to explain to people that you have booked with Sunweb and you are not meant to be paying.
We experienced this issue with our ski lessons. All we had was a meeting point and a phone number. We called the number and got told to meet at the Ski lift. We went there, but there were dozens of groups all meeting at the same place. We had no name for the company (not provided in the documentation), so we wondered round asking people should we be in there group. They were as confused as we were.
I got home and raised this with Sunweb who tried to Gaslight me that the name of the company was the skilift. I tried to explain that was just a meeting point and then the agent, Fanny, tried to tell me I should have contacted the Sunweb agent. I had no idea one existed. She said there was a phone number in my pack, I should have called that. The pack has a whatsapp number in it to a UK phone number.
Sunweb don't have to pay the ski school, as no lesson was attended. So they could easily have given a refund or partial refund for this mix-up, but they fought tooth and nail to keep the money.
Greedy behaviour from a company that just thinks they are right on everything and are happy to lie to you if it serves their interest. I will be raising a complaint with ATOL about this lot, as their treatment of customers is terrible.
