Everything about the trip was amazing - magic from start to finish

Not a trip we'd recommend for young children. While there were certainly lovely moments, we felt this trip was more geared towards slightly older children - ie 8+. There was too much waiting around for younger children, not enough focus on their nature or comfort. Also found it very surprising that the final 'dinner' involved collection at about 7.45pm and would have required the children to stay out until about 10.30pm+. After a busy day. That's not at all something that was organised with the needs of young children in mind. Would also say that things like the husky ride, while excellent, were far too short and each child should at least have two opportunities to partake. It really was blink and it was all over. The experience meeting Santa was wonderful. But the comfort of young children in those temperatures needs to be better considered in how the schedule is managed.

Sunway travels really made this trip exceptional. Every excursion was well executed, not a lot of waiting around, we got to accomplish so much with enough downtown to unwind and explore the resort, definitely recommend the 3 night for this reason. All the elves were amazing, kids had such a fun time, from check in to the final dance party everyone made our trip so magical. Once in a lifetime trip and Im So glad I chose Sunway Travels to book with.

Our trip to Rovaniemi at the start of December was truly magical and something we will cherish forever. I travelled with my young son and my mam and it was perfect from start to finish. Every experience felt so special and wonderfully organised, especially for families. Seeing the excitement and pure joy on my child’s face made the whole trip unforgettable. The atmosphere, the snow covered scenery and the activities created memories that will last a lifetime. Everything ran smoothly and exceeded our expectations. I honestly could not fault a single thing and would highly recommend this trip to anyone considering it. It was worth every moment and felt like stepping into a real life winter wonderland.

Lapland as a whole was amazing. This is the second time we have booked this package. I would recommend advising customers to bring marshmallows and skewers with them as there are plenty of firepits where marshmallows could be roasted. The experience was absolutely magical and worth every euro. If I had to make any negative comments (of which there are few) is that more effort could be put into Santa's secret hideaway/workshop. I felt like there wasn't much to do here and more activities could have been done. For example, on my first trip in 2019, the kids got to make Christmas decorations which was really nice and we still have the one our son made. We were also able to visit the elves bedrooms. I must commend the elf that met us at the airport in Dublin and on numerous other occasions over the few days. I can't recall her elf name - it was either Twinkle Toes or Sparkle Toes. She was a blonde lady. She was absolutely fantastic and enhanced the experience so much. If she could get a bonus or award for her dedication, enthusiasm and genuine grá, she deserves it. By far, the best Sunway elf I have ever met (over both trips).

What a fabulous spot, start to finish, lovely quaint small town. Easy to navigate and get around, so convenient, for sledding, getting to restaurants shops, and bus route to levvilanda.

We enjoyed every minute of our trip from the moment we arrived at Dublin airport to the moment we departed our return flight! All of our excursions were well organised and further information was provided with regard to timing etc. In the event you needed assistance our wonderful Elf Berry was always on hand! Berry went above and beyond and made the whole trip particularly special for my daughter. I would highly recommend this trip, it is truly a wonderful experience for both children and adults!

Sunway , 3 night excursion Family of four While it was expensive and we could of done the the trip ourselves and it would of worked out cheaper I don't think it would of been as memorable for the kids and as relaxed for the parents. notes There are elf's with you from once you get to the airport until your return ,,, playing games , jokes songs (they are was add the "magic" The dog sleigh ride is approximately 90 seconds from start to finish (probably 400m's) Reindeer ride There are multiple sleighs that are tied together and walked around a track (probably 400 m's) The kids need to be about 4 foot tall to go on snowmobile with guardian otherwise they go on a sleigh pulled by snowmobile Note two We had three "elf's" , which where all excellent Acorn Ribbons Cinnamon

The most magical life experience for my family. After loads of research and wondering if we could create our own package, we found the best option suitable for us was to travel with Sunway for our family Lapland experience. The team at Sunway were super to deal with and provide great advice as to what would be the most suitable option for our family. From the moment we booked our Lapland holiday until we landed back in Dublin again, it was magical. The elves at the airport, the ease of check-in, the Aer Lingus flight attendants, the goodie bags for the kids, the onboard entertainment, the small groups to travel to our activities, the hotel, the reindeers, huskies, snowmobiles, marsh mallow toasting and of course the Santa visit was expectational. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend!

Amazing two day adventure in Lapland with Sunway. From the airport to the plane ride home it was just special and the kids were overjoyed with the experience, The elves Ginger, Holly and snowdrop were so good with the kids and my 4 year old especially fell in love with them. the hotel was great, the adventures were well planned and so much was packed into the two days. Overall would highly recommend. Everything is planned out and there is no stress from organizing and more time for fun.

This was a magical experience for the family - the activities on main day were all amazing - reindeer and husky rides in particular. The chance to have toasted marshmallows was also a lovely touch. Santas hideaway was really well put together - the big man himself was so lovely - but all the elves and activities were well thought out. Getting to sled out onto a frozen lake was something the girls won’t forget. The visit to ice village was interesting but possibly not great for our kids age range (I was the most interested with it) but again it was a unique experience and well worth a visit.

I booked Yllas off the recommendation from Sunways booking agent over the phone. I got nervous in the lead up to the holiday, I was worried that I had booked the wrong hotel and my kids would be disappointed. Honestly it was so amazing, I couldn’t fault a thing. The elf’s were brilliant, my 2 kids loved them, and Santa was top class! He spent ages looking at drawings my kids had made for them and telling them lovely stories. As a single mam travelling with two kids I felt so supported from the start of the holiday to the end and my two kids have golden memories to cherish for life ❤️ best decision I ever made booking with Sunway.
