straight up scammers. placed an order last year october, i got an email that it has been shipped in november but it wasnt shipped. not a single tracking site has been able to tell me where it is besides royal mail, which tells me theyre waiting for it. i emailed them, they wont ship it and cant refund me. dont bother buying you wont get shit

I've made 5 orders so far with Sumerian UK (one with US), every single time I was extremely happy with the results. Great merch (in my case) in very good prices (a lot of discounts!), all the packages were well secured and came to me in timely fashion (BTW, they have very kind and informative customer support!) Overall I am very happy with my purchases and I do recommend them with full honesty.

I placed an order on November 22, 2024 and it's still unfulfilled.

Do these people have customer service, send goods with a company that return the goods if you are not in once, answer zero emails

Ordered the third tier Teeth of God sleep token comic- always happy to wait for preorders, but after the time passed I started to get a little suspicious. Others were receiving their orders- we then received an update and was told there was a delay. This continued to happen and it has now got to the point where weeks after querying it, I am not getting replies. I understand they are a busy company, but the customer service is terrible. After not answering my question via email, I was then sent a bot reply asking how the service was, which is laughable.

I'm now having to go through my bank to try and get a refund as they've not replied to my emails asking for one (despite offering it in the first place). I'd be unlikely to order from them again and I would advise others to tread carefully too. It's a shame as the item was one I did initially really look forward to receiving.

Cheapest packaging ends up in scruffy sleeve. If you don't care about that it's fine.

Ordered two albums over the last months. First order was processed late. Contacted customer services and got a prompt, helpful, and friendly answer. They were too optimistic about their shipping time, but the album arrived in good shape, albeit a bit late. Second order was processed and shipped within a week from placing my order. In all, my experiences were very positive.

First off they will not answer you asap. Thats false information. It took as long as 3 weeks for them to respond at worst. The QC of the albums produce is quite horrific /made in Chezh Republic. The packaging was barely acceptable (CHEAP), was slightly damaged for me, creased corners, the replacement was packaged same with damage to sleeve. However the customer support (Dylan) was amazing once we got in touch and he solved my issues in a great manner. That alone deserves 2 additional stars. Would've given 0 otherwise, would not order again as i care about the sleeve.

Ordered bad omens death of peace of mind cd but sent wrong one out. Considering the cd i ordered has a red cover and the one i received was white, its not like it wasn't hard to tell them apart. Plus it was a long despatch date too. Tried contacting them twice in a week, no answer. I should have avoided this company. Now hoping that my payment method can sort it out.
EDIT; after filing a complaint with PayPal I finally heard back after a few days regarding my first email. As it was a human (instead of an automated response) I told them about receiving the wrong cd and they helped to sort it out and I received the correct cd after sending back the wrong one (they paid for the p&p). I still think that they need to actually sort out their customer service response times as well over a week to 2 weeks is too long for them not to respond to multiple emails and the dispatch takes far too long. I am glad I paid with PayPal.

I ordered Bad Omens LP and to be honest after reading some of the reviews I was a bit worried. I contacted customer service and they replied immediately. My order arrived on time with absolutely no issues. I am very happy with my order and customer service. Thanks!

I ordered a T-shirt from them with the Kitty band on July 2 and they sent it on July 9. support service responded. Now it’s July 19th, the parcel is on the way through my country, I’m waiting) the longest the parcel was at customs in my country. It's not the store's fault here. I think there is no need to be afraid of bad reviews. because everyone's situation is different.

If i could give 0 stars i would. I ordered a vinyl containing 2x LPs and it was being shipped by amazon but they never received it so the order was cancelled. Tried contacting customer services multiple times via email and completely ignored. No refund received as of 1 month today

DO NOT BUY AT SUMERIAN. They sold me a record in pre-order, but I never received it. After asking them about it, they only told me "sorry, it's sold out". No further explanation. Now they seem to refuse to refund the money I paid them, coming up with all kind of lame excuses. This company is a scam.

After reading all these negative reviews, wasn’t sure if to other or not. In the end I did and the whole process was amazing. Fast dispatch, few days delivery and not a single corner bent.

Really wanted DOPOM from Bad Omens on vinyl, as the album was only a year old and harder to get than it should be. Saw it on the label merch site and was worried due to the negative reviews I read here.

I took a risk, as it was only £28 and it contribute to a band I enjoy and I’d rather lose that, than say £50+ to extortionate resellers.

Ordered between Christmas and New Year, not expecting it to arrive before the New year, if at all. It arrived within 3 days via Royal Mail. The vinyl is perfect and the album sounds amazing. I’ll be ordering the CD next so I can listen in the car.

Okay... So I was after a copy of Bad Omens DTPOM but everywhere was oos or extortionate via a reseller.

Sumerian had a copy in stock. After reading all the horrendous reviews I was really put off. But, temptation got the better of me and it payed off. No issues what so ever and came within 3 days of order to UK.

I'm not sure if they have had a revamp of staff or the ordering process since all of the negative reviews. But honestly I couldn't be happier with my order and would definitely use them again in the future.

Never received my order, which I placed last year in august. Since february of 2023 I‘m trying to get my money back, which was promised to me 3 (!) times already. Didn’t receive a single cent until today. This company is doing a terrible job of fulfilling customer support duties as well as legal duties.
I don’t recommend buying anything off their website. SKIP THIS COMPANY.

Received my order TWO MONTHS after placing it. The customer service is disgusting. I kept the records of all correspondence and none of it was replied to at all. It was the minute I threatened legal action that my order finally materialised and arrived.

They say they have fixed the shipping issue but this is not a new issue. Seems to be a reoccurring thing. Be wary and pay with either a credit card or PayPal to dispute payment because Shopify are of no help at all.

Would give 0 if I could.

I ordered a preorder t-shirt August 2022, was told it would ship a certain date then nothing. Emailed multiple times over the last year and have either had no response or some awful excuse.

Last month they cancelled my order for me (but I still haven't received a refund) so I emailed again 2 days ago and was told they'd be sending it soon and to be patient because their store had been trasited over to someone else 🙄

Avoid this company like the plague, you will never receive your item or your money back.

I preordered stuff last July. A year later I still haven’t received it and they are ignoring my emails, reading my dms in Instagram and not replying and deleting comments in their post of people demanding the stuff they paid for. I just ask them for what I paid for, but apparently they are keeping the money and not sending the merch. Also I want to let them know that they have sent me twice the same items by mistake, they don’t answer to that either.DO NOT BUY HERE
