A welcoming community

A much-needed source of support. And it's nice to have a pro-life resource for vulnerable people. Great forums and chat rooms.

There seems to be a small clique of…

There seems to be a small clique of people who are just generally mean and judgemental towards a lot of others. This clique seems to be in favor with admin as I've reported several nasty comments towards suicidal people. I was told the posts didn't violate the rules. While there were many kind people, overall the clique made it an uneasy experience.

Dangerous! Stay away!

This site allows users to harass and threaten other users. It is very dangerous for people with depression. They do not allow you to delete your account and claim it isn’t for money, but they send personal info to other sites. Why not allow deleting accounts and why send info to other sites if not for money. This site is not safe. Stay way! From similar web dot com:

a place that saved my life

It hurts to see that people get unsatisfied there but my own experience on SF actually proves it's an amazing place at least for me. I joined at 2019, got the most genuine friendships there for the first time in my life. There are a bunch of kind people there who also suffer, so the key to feel comfortable there is to understand that we all go through it sometimes, and negativity is inevitable. I'd like to call it the safest place on the internet, for me. Please remember that it's for peer support. If you feel uncomfortable then leave it, we have to respect each other's feeling and stop invalidating other's pain and somehow it's understandable a hard task if you are suffering too much mentally. All in all, SF saved my life

Complete load of rubbish

Complete load of rubbish. These people are not running a site to help people it's just a load of negative replies from people who probably are not even ill to start with. How many people will succumb to sites like this before they are removed completely. People who say they are staff but call themselves insane I mean come on don't fall for this c### there needs to be a ban on these places because they do more harm than good. Shut suicide forum down please don't join. 👎
