I have ordered from the company before (about 4 years ago) but this time I wanted a handle and lock. As I wasn't 100% sure which lock to used I decided to call first. I spoke to a very nice lady who guided me through the lock an handle choice and where to find them on their web page. This was Friday 20th March am.

I ordered the handles and lock just after the call via their web site. Sunday 22nd AM the package arrived, I wasn't expecting the delivery to be that quick.

All fitted, looks good and works well.

Would I use then them again yes. Very impressive.

I’m replacing the doors in my 800-year-old cottage and their latches, hinges, handles and catches have all been beautifully made and perfectly suited to its character. Every item feels solid, well-finished and thoughtfully sourced, with real attention to traditional style and detail. It’s a pleasure to find a company that offers such a consistent range of quality ironmongery, backed up by prompt, reliable service and careful presentation. My only small suggestion would be to use paper tape so the packaging is fully recyclable. A thoroughly dependable company and a joy to order from - highly recommended.

We purchased some door latches from the Warwick Door Handles on Backplates range. They are comfortable to use with a nice feel and the profile of the handles is just what we had been looking for.
We needed our order quickly because of the unexpected sudden availability of the joiner and the people at this company made special arrangements to see that it was sent directly to us from the manufacturers by the next working day. Highly recommend this company on the strength of this experience.

Fantastic company.

Whilst I cannot fault the products at all as they are great quality and lovely looking, I do feel somewhat cheated in that the antique brass door furniture that we ordered was a well-known brand (which there is absolutely no mention of anywhere on the SLC site) and not their own. The website itself makes it sound like the products are specifically crafted and unique, so you are willing to spend a little more for better quality. Imagine my surprise when the box arrives and it is the same boxes I already have at home, just 20% more expensive. Save your money and buy them somewhere else (they will probably arrive quicker too!) unless you are looking for something very specific unique.

Before purchasing this latch catch, listed as suitable for windows, cupboards and attic hatches, I contacted Suffolk Latch to confirm that the item I wanted would be suitable for an attic hatch.
As the answer was "Yes", I went ahead with the order; including the rather expensive delivery cost of £6.75.
It arrived promptly, only for me to find that there was absolutely no way that this was going to be suitable.
I then emailed Suffolk Latch again, with photos of my hatch cover, asking for more advice. After a week there has not been any response.
If I return it, I will have spent nearly as much on p&p as the £15 cost of the latch itself.
So, whilst this is a good quality item, the outcome has been extremely disappointing.

I have used SLC twice for domestic projects. I thought their products were very high quality, and outstanding value. I have also received excellent customer support. All round an excellent company I will continue to recommend to others.

Had what for me was a large order, all products were perfectly colour matched, and incredibly well made.
The idea of service is very much overused by many companies but this company excels at it. i couldn't ask for more!
