DROPPED WITHOUT NOTICE

I own a 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander I purchased new at Pat Fitzgibbon Mitsubishi in South Holland, IL., with this vehicle purchase I was offered and given free lifetime oil changes. When that dealership closed I was referred
to the South Suburban Mitsubishi dealer in Monee, IL and I continued to receive the
free oil changes. That dealership moved
to its current location in Matteson, IL Well,
I called last week and made an appointment
for an oil change. I went in today and was told
the oil change would be $89.95. I ask to speak with the service manager regarding this issue. The new service manager (Josh Malone) told
me that the old service manager was honoring that offer and shouldn't have because I didn't purchase my vehicle there. I asked why they didn't tell me that when making my appointment, because they asked me my
Vin# to look me up in the computer system then....as they did today. Then, the service manager (Josh Malone) asked me very
condescendingly "What made me feel I should get free oil changes." I then confirmed with
him that their dealership made the same offer to my daughter who did purchase her vehicle
at that location, so, the same business ethic that made them decide to extend this offer,
is the same reason I felt I deserved the offer upheld. Especially, since I'd been receiving the
upholding of this offer for the past eight years
from this same dealership, and five of those
from that very location.

When I got home later in the day, I called back to the dealership and all to speak with the General manager (Dennis Boston), and I expressed my displeasure in how I had been addressed earlier today by His service manager (Josh Malone). He did listen and apologize for how I was spoken to by the service manager (Josh Malone) and stated he would tslked with him regarding that. He also explained that he implemented the change and why, but, never offered any compensation for my making the trip to his dealership and receiving less than professional services by a manager at that!!!
I felt they should have still honored the previously given free oil change.... and then notated my file that I had been notified and then charge on a go forward basis.

After giving them several opportunities to extend "quality customer service"
unsuccessfully, instead of leaving me
(the consumer) holding the bag, I took the
time to write this very lengthy review with hopes of keeping someone else from having
to deal with the same.

Good or Bad service goes a long way and can last a lifetime. South Suburban Mitsubishi of Matteson Illinois put a very bitter taste in my
mouth regarding Mitsubishi from now on.

TO ANY OTHER POSSIBLE CONSUMERS,
I BID YOU GOOD LUCK....YOU MAY NEED IT
AT TIME OF SERVICE!!!
