Avoid this app and the web-site. I have paid for a free 3-day trial to see how it goes, and immediately was charged for some pdf-file - which is useless by the way for extra 30$ (you can have three... See more

Beware of trying this for under a £1 for 3 days, they will then debit £35 from your account and refuse to refund you even though you haven’t used their service, as ‘it’s in the small print’. No amount of emailing gets any response other than ‘you do not qualify for a refund’ . Disgraceful company with very poor ethics and masquerading as being there to help people.

Don’t give them your credit card details! It’s an expensive scam. They don’t do refunds.

This is a scam! I agreed to pay a £1 trail , the Apple Pay authorisation came up on my phone which I consented too. To my surprise, I got 2 banking notifications saying 2 payments had bee authorised- the one I approved and a further 25.99! I don’t know how they managed this as I only approved the £1 transaction and the Apple Pay bar did not come up for this second transaction, this is Preying on vulnerable people and I will be reporting this as fraud to my bank.
Edit for their response, I’ve looked on Reddit and their instagram account and this is happening to a lot of people. I’ve reported to the bank as fraud and had to cancel my cards

ABSOLUTE SCAM
THE CHARGE 40 DOLLARS AFTER I ONLY AGREED TO A 1€ 3 DAY TRIAL
AND ABUSE ADHD
IT IS NOT HELPFUL AND ADDS TO SCROLLING AND SCREEN TIME
THE TIPS ARE STUFF LIKE DRINK WATER LIKE OMG IF YOU FORGET TO DRINK WATER YOU WILL NOT REMEMBER TO GO ON THE APP SO IT REMEMBER YOU
Update: after fighting a lot they will grant a refund
I recently fell victim to a blatant scam by Habio. Their app is designed to deceive users into making in-app purchases through misleading visuals and fine print. They tricked me into buying a PDF file for 29.99 euros, making it appear as though the product was free. The payment terms were deliberately hidden in a pale layout, ensuring most customers wouldn't notice until it was too late.
This is nothing short of FRAUD. The response from the merchant was dismissive, claiming that I had consented to the purchase. This is a lie. I did not consent to being scammed.
I will not let this slide. As a digital content creator, I am using every platform at my disposal to expose their deceitful practices. I will post reviews on the App Store, Play Store, Facebook, Trustpilot, and every other major review site to warn others.
Furthermore, their actions may be in direct violation of European consumer protection laws, particularly those related to transparent pricing and fair trading. I am prepared to report their practices to the relevant authorities and pursue legal action.
Do not fall for this scam. Avoid Habio at all costs and spread the word about their fraudulent behavior.
P.S: They will now respond to my review with a comment asking me to contact them by email, I did, and they will pretend to be professional and all, don't fall for that.
I agree with others. It’s a scam app and they’re thieves. I canceled my 3days trial ( which was 1$ ,not free by the way as advertised in the app). I’m saying this is a thought out plan to cheat people money because
- The 3 days trial is counted by hours and although I canceled within the same day , they said “oh we cannot give you money back “
- subscription fee is taken outside of AppStore ecosystem to avoid users disputing the charges . List themselves as a “free app” on the App Store but you can’t even get a real free trial to see the content before paying.
- the app is confusing showing “2 active days” and one would think they still have a day to cancel for a 3 days trial
- the “money back policy” is fake and just a decoration because there’re so many unrealistic “conditions” you have to fulfill to be eligible for a refund
It’s not just a bad app with no valuable content worthy of paying 39.90$ a month , it’s also a bad business practice and mindset. Of course you can give refunds to people if you want to. lol.
People who work here should be ashame.
This app is fraudulent; check the reviews before signing up. I signed up for a 2-week trial for $9.99 but was unexpectedly charged $29.99 twice! There is no way to cancel the subscription through the app. You have to report it to your bank to stop the charges.
SCAM.......
Took unauthorized payment - no customer care - emails bouncing back!
I called up my credit card company as soon as I saw the deduction on my card. They guy on the other end already knew HABIO by name and said that they are scammers. The only option is to cancel you card and get a new one! GREAT.
Very badly experience I never accept to be charged twice in 2 days of 79 dollars it s a shame

First of all this app is not worth the money at all, as soon as I saw what it offered I cancelled my trail immediately. However I wouldn’t of been posting this review or really had an issue with it at all if it wasn’t for what happened after.
I then tried to skip through to the next next part so I could use the app after signing up for the paid for week trial. I believe just like someone else who has left a review here it is very easy to click through and end up clicking the button for the PDF which I still don’t know what it is because I have no use for it. This charged me $29.99 and as I had already paid for the previous week trial it came straight out of my Apple Pay with no confirmation from me. After this I immediately emailed their support team to say what happened, making sure to not even look at the PDF so they couldn’t say I used it at all. I followed exactly what they said to process the refund for this and after waiting longer more than 4 business days (which is what they say it will take to get back to me), they just bluntly said they don’t do refunds. Honestly never had a worse experience with an app or product ever. If I could give it a minus rating I would. PLEASE STAY AWAY.

This app is a massive fraud done to a group of vulnerable people. This needs to be addressed. They are taking a subscription fee from outside of the AppStore normal system, directly on the bank of the card associated to the account and refuses to cancel the subscription that was never agreed on the first place. You are not allowed to cancel subscription on the app itself as it says that “you can’t unsubscribe via the app as you subscribed online” which is even not true, and of course there is no way of logging in on their website. So you end up being trap and pay £30 a month for nothing which is massive. Please run away now. For all the people who are ripped off monthly, we need to collectively sue this fraudulent organisation.
Absolute scam!! I hated the app and cancelled my subscription within an hour! I was still charged $5.99 even though I cancelled during the “free” week and then they still tried to
charge me $29.99

SCAM!! Absolutely diabolical! Tried to say I didn't cancel it during the trial and I did! SIXTY DOLLARS THEY TOOK before I realised, Look at Reddit - SO MANY COMPLAINTS!! DO NOT BUY

Habio is a scam.
I followed a link on Instagram , I wasn’t told about Any charges besides what I had chosen when downloading it.
I have already followed up with Habio support centre and all they can come back with is that I did an in app purchase , which I did not and they don’t do refund on these.
Apple has to put a stop to this. As soon as I opted for the 1$ option to trial the app I was charged a further R563 , which I did not choose.
I’ve now read other complaint and can’t believe so many people have found themselves in the same situation.
Why is no one doing something about it.

This is a scam. I was interested to look at the app and paid $1:49. Then I was charged over $90 AUD for “workbooks” that I did not agree to purchase, then after three days I was charged another $60. It did not appear in the Apple subscriptions to cancel, no instructions on how to cancel in their email.
This company is stealing money from people. I will be contacting both Apple and Zendesk to let them know Habio is using their platforms to steal money from the public.
