Richard came at fairly short notice and couldn't have been more brilliant. Extremely efficient, did everything he was asked to do and quickly and with minimal disruption and mess. Very reasonable price. Cannot recommend more highly. Excellent on every count.

Highly,highly recommend. Phoned Richard and asked if he could remove a cherry tree stump at short notice before the weekend , and said don’t worry it will be done . Then his colleague Robin turned up and done an amazing job .

Very happy with the service provided. Men who came were polite and friendly and even took out a huge rock that was buried between two stumps. Would definitely recommend.

Richard not only did a great job of removing three stumps for me, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was helpful in finding a date/time that worked for me, turned up on time, was polite and efficient, and left my garden tidy at the end of it. I can't recommend him enough!

Paul did a great job of clearing the enormous tree stump in our garden. He surrounded the area he was working in so the sawdust and clippings stayed within a confined space. There was very little damage to the lawn from the machine tracks getting to the stump and it has been ground down low enough to allow us to fill the hole and turf. He also advised us on how long we need to leave the sawdust and clippings before we can use it.

So very professional and such superb service. Would highly recommend

Would highly recommend this service! At very short notice, Zeb came out to remove tree stumps which meant the whole area could be seeded to lawn. He was friendly, highly professional and tidied everything up afterwards. We really appreciated his help and will definitely use his service again if the need arises. Thank you Zeb!

Unfortunately my stump wasn't completely removed and now will have to pay someone else to remove it! Now in dispute with bank.

First of was all very good, (I wont name a blame but it was hampshire area) came, arrived on time, gave me a quote, was more expensive than quoted prior due to acess but was the only one who would do the job on short notice so fine.

Day of the job arrived and he turned up and got cracking all good he knew I needed it down to lay a patio.

Anyway job was 'done' sent the money and thought nothing more of it, I did look but it was very overgrown around there.

Anyway, it was then time to do the fence which ran along where the stump had been 'removed', after clearing the excess ivy and wood chippings etc, I noticed a huge part of the stump still there, text the stmpbuster man with the pictures and asked if he could come baxk as I have patio being laid and he didnt respond, then called and he hung up. Called the next day just went the voice mail, called again the following day and left a voice mail, still nothing.
A week then passed so I text saying I would have to take it up with the bank and get a claim back as the job hadnt been completed. He then text back 30 mins later and apologised for not coming back to me he was meant to have sent the text a week ago...!

Anyway he said he couldn't get all the way back due to a small brick wall around 2 - 3 inches from the back of the stump and he would happily come round to regrind once removed.

Perfect, slightly annoying he ignored me at first but gave him the benefit of the doubt. 1 week later I knocked the brick work back text him with pictures making sure it was enough... then again, no response, text him the following day, no response again, called him the following day and left a voice mail, no response again ..

So I just spent an hour on the phone with the bank and now having the monies disputed and left with a huge stump, broken brick work and £168 down!

So extremely annoyed.

I should have fully checked the job once he was done, my fault for being too trust worthy I guess.

However, of course I personally won't use stumpbusters again.

EDIT: a week after writing this review and giving one star, head office saw this review and did call my stump buster and he gave me a call, he apologised and said he just hadn't seen the messages.. Anyway, he did come the following day and within 30 minutes the rest of the stump was gone

A bit of a headache all around, but glad review was acknowledged this and was all sorted in the end - did appreciate that.

Excellent service from Andrew who came this week and removed over 15 stumps in just one day. His equipment is first rate, wished I had called him in earlier this year and saved myself weeks of hard work removing stumps manually.
Friendly, professional person I would not hesitate in recommending him.
