Excellent Double Studybed and bookcase. It has transformed a 2nd bedroom that got no use into a bright and breezy study that is a much nicer place to work. Yet if someone does come to stay a comfortable bed a available instantly. The install was efficient and timely. Highly recommended.

My partner and I saw the Studybed in action at the Ideal Home exhibition in 2013/14. We got a double with a top box and it's been one of the best purchases we've made.
Everyone who sleeps on it it finds it extremely comfortable and the mechanism still works perfectly after more than a decade of use.
It's survived moving house and sleepers of all shapes and sizes.
Our Studybed was used as a desk everyday for it's first 5 years, we added a bracket to hold a large PC screen to the bottom of the bed allowing the screen to remain in place and off the desk.
It's been a great way to give guests a genuinely comfortable sleep whilst not losing valuable floor space or having to find a place for all the things on the desktop.
The duvet and pillows stay in place when you raise the bed (just pop the pillows under the duvet) so you can make the bed up ahead of time then just pull it down when needed.
It's a great bit of well designed furniture that will outlive us!

Amazing experience! The StudyBed is absolutely perfect for me, I use it daily as my main bed, and in desk mode I use as a home office/dressing table most days.
The order process was easy, I phoned and chatted to Joanne to make sure I was ordering the best option for my needs, then the delivery and installation went really smoothly and the guys didn't leave until they were sure I was comfortable changing from bed to desk mode.
Admittedly these are not the cheapest but you are paying for superb build quality and installation. Bed itself is as comfy as any regular bed I've slept in.

I love my studybed. It’s a sturdy piece of furniture built to last. I would highly recommend this company as I cannot fault there product, service, staff, and after sales service. Their customer service and installers are so helpful and a pleasure to deal with.

We visited the showroom and were able to see the quality of the studybed- Judy was so helpful over email, telephone and in person. She didn't pressure us and enabled us to select the perfect one for us. Throughout the design (we customised) and installation pro-active and comprehensive conversation. Now installed and wonder what we did beforehand

I love my Studybed. It is an incredible piece of furniture, just what we wanted to use primarily as a desk but could convert to a bed for overflow guests. The whole process from ordering to installation was seamless and remarkably quick. The installers were friendly and very efficient. Very impressed and would recommend them.

I have recently purchased my second Study Bed the first was for my study and it is mostly used as a desk and I love it. The second has been our in my son’s bedroom. Doing an internship he needed a desk and bed but we wanted to maximise the space.
It’s working beautifully and he loves the simplicity of switching between bed and desk.

We’ve had our study bed for over 15 years. It’s been dismantled twice during this time and stored for renovations/moving. During the last move a bar was damaged, Customer Service had a replacement after all this time. Today, the bed is working just as perfectly as the first day it was installed. This has been such a good investment. I love the versatility the study bed gives the room. The pivot from desk to bed is so easy to do. Thank you StudyBed for making such a quality item.

We are delighted with our study bed. It looks perfect in the space it's been placed. The design is very clever and serviceable. The mattress is so comfortable that we plan to order another one for a different bed.

It has turned my old small kitchen into a small useable office/spare bedroom for when my granddaughters want to stay after having a new kitchen extension and it means I can close the door on my workspace at the end of my work day.
Installation was very swift, considering it’s a small room but the guys that came were very professional and knowledgeable, even putting on the new mattress for us when they had finished.
Love my purchase would definitely recommend.

Really happy with the Studybed. We bought the bed at a trade show and the sales team there could not have been more helpful.

We since had several conversations via phone for delivery and colour of the bed again the team in the office could not be more helpful.

Very happy with the Studybed so far. We have a guest due next week who will be the first to try it. The transition from desk to bed is such a smooth action.
Ours is in my studio, my desk gets very untidy so transforming the room was pain but now it’s…easy peasy.
We did have a couple of minor issues with the fitting but Sudybed dealt with them promptly and brought gifts as an apology, how good was that!
I would definitely recommend this product.

Couldn't be happier with our Studybed, it's exactly what we needed, a desk in our very small 3rd bedroom by day which, once work is finished, instantly transforms into a full size, comfy bed by night for when our granddaughter sleeps over. There's no need to move anything or remake the bed it operates exactly as shown on the website which really saves so much time. We also managed to squeeze in a wardrobe which is excellent quality, a good size and so provides much needed extra storage. Studybed's customer service cannot be bettered either, from ordering to delivery and installation the whole team are nothing but friendly, helpful and professional. We can't recommend this company and it's products highly enough.

We were looking for a solution for our spare bedroom as we needed a desk and occasional bed.

The study bed company seemed to offer this solution. We organised with them a viewing and this gave us the reassurance that this is what we are looking for.

The whole process from beginning to end was very smooth. The staff were really attentive and helpful nothing was too much trouble.

The bed arrived on time and put in place. We are very happy with the results. We also incorporated two units underneath the bed and two bookcases either side of the bed.

Ordered a wardrobe to match our study bed which we originally purchased 2019. We had not problem ordering and it was fitted on the 12th May 2025. We are absolutely delighted with our purchase and it matches our Study bed and drawer cabinet. Workmanship is absolutely brilliant and I would thorough recommend purchasing items from The Study Bed.
