Micaela is a great photographer and she’s also a thoroughly lovely person to have on board. She’s able to capture moments candidly and to make her subjects feel at ease, which is key for the style of photography that our school requires. We hired Micaela for a full day’s shoot, for which she travelled from Scotland to London, and it was an intense eight hours. Photoshoots at the school tend to be busy, as the site is sprawling and there’s so much going on at lunch time, so there’s little wiggle room or time to stop, which can be a challenge when trying to achieve the ideal shot. Micael took a fantastic portfolio of photos, managing to capture each scenario presented to her, whether it were a pupil walking between lessons, practical work in Art, a music recital or sports outside. Her professionalism and flexibility are refreshing, and she’s undeniably skilled. We’d most definitely hire her again.
