I was looking for a strings musician to play for the moment I proposed to my partner in London just last week. Lucy Gijsbers did the most wonderful cello performance for my engagement at Leadenhall Market, and she was the most communicate and flexible throughout the whole process. The music was beautiful, I was able to select the set list I wanted and she was so accommodating as well with any new songs I proposed!! It was the most beautiful experience having her play the role she did at our engagement (proposal) and I know my finance Amanda and I, as well as our friends and families, will cherish the moment forever. Thank you for making our day so special, Lucy!!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience with this string quartet for our 50th anniversary celebration at Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden. From the start, they were incredibly professional and a joy to work with, making the planning process completely stress-free.

Their performance was simply outstanding. They were able to immerse themselves in the style of bhajan music, creating a mesmerizing fusion with other instruments like the bansuri, tabla, and piano. Their strings added a beautiful, elegant layer to the celebratory atmosphere.

The quartet's talent and ability to blend so perfectly with the other musicians and singers truly elevated the entire event. We received so many compliments and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a touch of grace and musical excellence to their special occasion.

Lucy has been my cello teacher for a number of years and is absolutely incredible. So, naturally, when it came to my husband and I's wedding, Lucy and String's musicians London were the perfect choice. Throughout the entire process they were professional and took great care and interest in making our day as special as possible with a tailored repertoire- honestly could not have asked for better. Genuinely couldn't find a better group of excellent musicians!

In August, Strings Musicians London played at our wedding - it was a beautiful surprise for our guests and their playing was amazing! We were able to select so many of our favourite songs as well as music for our cake cutting and first dance. For the first dance the musicians took into account our request for tempo and length so that our rehearsed dance went well in front of our guests. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special!

String musicians were fantastic. They played at my son's wedding and all the musicians were outstanding. Arda, Lucy and everyone were very helpful and flexible with the play list and very accomplished musicians. They created the perfect vibe and atmosphere for the wedding reception. I would fully recommend them and book them again when needed.

I recently booked Lucy and another member of their quartet for my proposal which i did on reigate castle grounds. They were so helpful and accommodating in my planning of the moment along with any specific song requests i had. it really wouldn't have been the same without them. Its a memory me and my fiancé will cherish forever. Lucy was even kind enough to put me in contact with a videographer they use who managed to capture the moment and everything after. As musicians they were simply outstanding and seriously lovely people too, i can’t recommend them enough for whatever event someone has planned.

I saw Lucy performing at a wedding I was photographing the week before I was due to get married, and pretty much booked her on the spot! Lucy and her entire team of musicians are incredibly talented and delighted our guests with some beautiful music before, during and after our civil ceremony at Syon Park. Moreover, Lucy was an absolute pleasure to deal with via email and in less than 24 hours after we'd met she'd already sent over a booking confirmation. Amazing string musicians, highly recommend for corporate events. Varied repertoire with lots of Bridgerton quartet style music and extremely well-presented and professional. Lucy is easy to deal with and super organized.

A stellar set of musicians to work with. With only 10 days notice Lucy & Francisca shared some beautiful and moving music for our SXSW event. They incorporated new pieces from outside their set and were really flexible and accommodating to make it work for us. Not only top musicians but also super professional - a rare mix :)

Nicola and Laura played for my wedding (both cellists), at the ceremony, reception and wedding breakfast. String Musicians have made it so easy and stress free for myself, during the planning and also on the wedding day. Once I told them what I wanted for the music (from the style of music to specific pieces), I did not need to worry about anything else. They worked with the registrar from the council to coordinate cues during the ceremony, so the transition between music pieces was seamless. Many guests commented how well they played throughout the day! Thank you!

I booked a Bridgerton string quartet for my sister’s wedding and the violinists and cellist were amazing. Everything was perfect, from the booking process, to the pieces selection to the execution on the day. Cannot recommend String Musicians London enough!!!!
