Absolute Shambles!
If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I booked a taxi for a journey to and from Southborough to Tunbridge Wells town centre the day prior to my journey, since I was looking for a collection time of 12.30pm - just to ensure I reached my meeting in sufficient time.
12.45pm and no taxi, I phoned and they assured me they were ½ a mile away. 15 minutes went by and still no taxi. My meeting had now begun and I wasn't present. I called again and a different staff member told me she doesn't know what has happened to the driver and she would have to re-allocate my enquiry to a new one, will be there in 5-10 mins. Another 20 minutes later, I called a final time and was told he was just passing Meadow Road, Southborough which was just by my pick up location and he still took 10 mins more than this.
I missed more than half of my meeting, my colleagues had all started dining without me and I had been stood in the rain more than 1 hour waiting. He was apologetic but also said he and 2 other drivers had been sat in the town centre near Tesco's waiting for jobs whilst I was stood in the rain missing my meeting with no taxi arriving. Why was one of them not allocated to myself? I explained all of this to the driver who offered me a meager 90p discount...
On the return pickup due at 3pm, they were again 20 minutes late, in which time I are aged alternative means of reaching back to my office and the taxi the waitress called for me from Walkers arrived in less than 10 minutes even at such short notice and cost £1 less than the cost Streamline had informed me of.
I did not bother to cancel them until last minute when they decided to have turned up at 3.30pm and sent the confirmation text they had arrived, instead let them know of their dire service in response to the incoming text from the driver.
Will make sure I or anyone I know uses Streamline again. Absolute shambles of a company...
