Some of the best rates for fixed savings accounts out there. The whole signing-up process went well; no issues at all. User-friendly website and smooth experience.

ABSOLUTELY ABYSMAL

I don't even know where to start . Several other reviews mentioned about streambank being amateurs I think that's an understatement. Technical problems and glitches are the norm and don't even think about contacting them you will not be able to get hold of them. The service is what you would expect in a third world country . Avoid like the plague

A very amateur outfit

A very amateur outfit, by their own admission.

For savers in Tim deposits, Stream Bank are limited by their internal software to handling funds in tranches of not more than £10,000. Therefore for £50,000, one received five messages for each transaction.

Secondly, capitalised interest is not paid out upon withdrawal of deposit, after the appropriate notice period. It is paid separately on the final day of the month in which withdrawal is made. For residual capitalised interest below £1,000, there is no interest earned in that period.

Service not looking good at StreamBank.

Tried to withdraw funds today but website said "invalid details". I tried different amounts and got the same message. System said send them an email message or call them on 02039626511. I tried to call them on the phone number given but a message said "you can send a secure message" and then cut me off!
Things are not looking good for dealing with Streambank.

Opened a notice account with this lot…

Opened a notice account with this lot but didn't realise that, despite being a new challenger bank they use the dated, non user friendly and cumbersome online platform loved by old fashioned building societies. Then found much better rate so requested return of funds within 14 day cooling off period. Received email promising funds returned by the end of the day.

The funds didn't arrive so rang next morning to be told the only person allowed to authorise withdrawals was off so I could not have received my funds that day.

What do they do if the person is off for a fortnight?

Best avoid this lot until they sort themselves out and get a better online platform
