I wish I could give them negative ten stars. This utterly abusive, offensive chain promised you would get points for stays, and I booked a long stay based on that offer. Then they illegally and without adequate notice (I live outside Scandinavia) eliminated the program after the fact and refused to honor or transfer the points, giving me endless contradictory, offensive excuses. This is beyond abusive behavior and fraudulent. I would never trust these people with anything. The hotels are also overpriced, lack soundproofing and are terribly run at every level. Stay anywhere else.

I’m officially joining the 1-star reviews, and unfortunately, it’s well-deserved in this case.

I had a truly upsetting experience at the Clarion Hotel Copenhagen Airport 21 APR 2025 01:00 that I feel others should be aware of. I was in transit and had some time before my flight, so I politely asked a staff member if it would be okay to sit and work in the lobby while I waited.

To my shock, instead of just saying no or offering an alternative, she called the police and triggered the building's full alarm system, treating me as if I were some kind of threat. When authorities arrived, it was clear there was no issue at all. Nothing was wrong — just a traveler asking to work quietly.

The whole situation was completely blown out of proportion, unnecessarily stressful, and frankly humiliating. It was an overreaction that showed poor judgment and a lack of basic human courtesy.

If you're a traveler looking for a calm or respectful environment, I’d seriously reconsider staying here. Being treated this way for such a simple question was unacceptable.

Clarion Hotel Copenhagen is in need of significant refurbishment. The beds are extremely hard and bedding poor quality and not comfy. Rooms smell of smoke and makes it difficult to fall asleep
