From first making contact with Scott and discussing the job to seeing the finished work it could not have turned out any better. Having seen the quality of their work on social media I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking a fantastic job.

We recently got our garage converted and Scott’s team completed our brick work. You wouldn’t even know we had a conversion! Bricks match perfectly and the cement has dried well and it all blends in perfectly! His team were fantastic, on time, made a beautiful job and cleaned up after themselves! They even hosed down my neighbours car! Absolutely fantastic company and thrilled with results, thank you!

We had lost faith in workmen as we had our house pointed expensively and badly. The work had to be removed and redone. We read Stratum's reviews and asked them to undertake the work. What a difference. The front of the house looks great. Scott Reid (who owns the business) is lovely, has great communication skills, is very professional, approachable and has built a great team of skilled workers. Aaron and Jindra were lovely guys and their work was excellent. We will miss having them around. How often can you honestly say that? 😆 Not forgetting Rab who was only here for a few days but was also a very experienced worker. This has been a very pleasant experience and we wish Scott and his team all the very best. We are sure this business will thrive and grow. Look no further if you need work done.

I called to enquire if a small remedial job could be done about nine months after the front of my red sandstone house had been pointed. Without any problem, it was attended to.

Scott completed our brickwork and stone cill work to our garage conversion on our 11 year old home. The original brick is discontinued and he sourced the perfect match. His brickwork and attention to his work is by far the best I’ve seen. We spent a year looking at other conversions and I was so picky until I finally spotted Scott’s work on a neighbours home. He is polite and friendly to deal with, shows when he says he will (which is a huge thing for me) and the cherry on the top is he’s not a rip off. His prices are reasonable and very competitive and he’s more than worth the price he quotes.
You can hire him with utter confidence and in his own words “he treats it like it’s his own home” you can’t ask for more than that

Where do you start when you need a Stonemason?
Everyone knows a joiner, plumber etc but not so easy when it comes to stonemasons.
We contacted a few companies and they all impressed but Scott at Stratum Masonary really stood out.
Without doubt he is ridiculously passionate about his work and operates in a very professional manner.
Hopefully Scott will post pictures of the before and after to really get a feel of what he achieved.
In short we had rough cast covering our stonework so removing it was a bit of a gamble but one we are so glad we took.
One of the reasons we took the plunge as we believed that, no matter what was behind it, Scott would make good. He did not let us down.
With every project there can be unsuspecting issues and this was no exception but Scott used his vision and experience to deliver solutions. Indeed it is fair to say he treated our property as if it was his own.
His advice was invaluable.
Also if note is that the solutions did not impact on the price which is tribute to how genuine Scott is.
In addition his communication, which is the downfall of so many tradesmen, is exceptional.
On another note credit to his workmen who like Scott are professional and have great attention to detail. They also worked through all weathers which was appreciated.
If you are looking for a stonemason look no further than Stratum. They are truely exceptional and I cannot speak any more highly of them.
It was a pleasure to have them deliver our project and without doubt this is one of the best companies I have ever had working on a project.
