STORING.COM NEED TO START RESPONDING TO EMAILS FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO LITERALLY LOST ALL THEIR WORLDLY POSSESSIONS IN THE FIRE AND NEED TO BE COMPENSATED NOW!!! INSTEAD OF TRYING TO REMOVE GENUINE REVIEWS FROM GENUINE PEOPLE OR TRYING TO GET OUT OF PAYING REFUNDS FOR WEEKS OF STORAGE WHEN PERSONAL BELONGINGS WERE ALREADY DESTROYED (I WAS SENT AN EMAIL 'CLAIMING I OWED MONEY ON MY ACCOUNT AND NEEDED TO CLEAR THE £33 OWING)

Good service when they came to pick up my items. The worst service ever when there was a fire in the warehouse where my items were. There was a 14 day delay to advice the customers about the situation. It’s just a devastating situation to lose everything you have. I’m trying to get someone to deal with my insurance - which was told that they don’t know for sure how much the insurance company can pay for the items we lost. I hope something is done about this situation because it’s just devastating. I don’t even have words to explain how I feel after this.
Horrific customer service. My personal belongings were destroyed in a fire that affected their storage facility on 1st November. Almost a month later and we as affected customers are still in the dark as to whether Storing.com will provide compensation for losses. In the meantime the company is operating “business as usual” while it’s customers suffer without support or personal communication.
Like many of you I needed to hire some storage space and set about researching what was available

SECURITY - The security provided by Storage.Com is high quality, robust storage units, high and electrified fences, on site personnel etc.
INSURANCE & ACCESSIBILITY - Insurance if your possessions is of course an individual choice but their policies more than met my needs.
As regards Accessibility, you are provided with a swipe card which affords you 24 hour access to your items
Finally, THE PEOPLE - I found Reon and his colleagues at Storing.Com, affable, professional and a pleasure to deal with

I needed to store most of my belongings for a few months, and found the prices listed on Storing.com to be about half of what i'd have paid anywhere else. I was initially skeptical, as it seemed too good to be true, but they were extremely helpful and professional from the first time I spoke to them on the phone, to answering all of my anxious questions, and the movers were prompt, efficient, careful with my belongings, and friendly. I didn't feel I had to worry at all, and all of my things have now been returned to me in the same condition they left :) Thanks Storing.com!
My experience with storing.com was heavenly.
I stored all my belongings for six months while I was travelling overseas. I initially chose storing.com because it was the cheapest option. I expected a standard experience (when you save money on something you tend to think there's a catch), but I was pleasantly surprised that there was no catch at all! I was particularly impressed by the excellent customer service, and would choose them again. They helped me every step of the way and suggested solutions to make my storage cheaper and smoother. The two teams who came to my house to pick up and then give back my boxes were friendly, helpful and polite. I felt that my belongings were completely safe. The boxes arrived in perfect shape too!
I placed most of the contents of my home into storage with Storing.com. They were exceedingly friendly and helpful at the telephone and tremendously quick and efficient about coming to collect. However the most impressive thing was the polite, sensible, uniformed chaps who spent three hours carrying furniture and boxed out to the containers and carefully and delicately placing everything safely. Not a word of complaint, even when some of my furniture wouldn't fit through the door and had to go out a window then swiftly got blankets to cushion and protect both window frame and furniture. I couldn't recommend them highly enough and the cost seems to me to be more than competitive.
WARNING: DO NOT USE STORING.COM – UNTRUSTWORTHY
When my father died, I was devastated. I put his belongings into storage as I could not fit them into my tiny flat and could not face trying to work out what to sell and what I could afford to keep. I chose Storage.com as they looked like a sensible and responsible medium sized storage company. I also stored some of my musical equipment and musical composition work.
I am a musician and although I have had significant successes, my income is patchy, so I found paying the additional storage charges difficult. However, I was in regular communication with Storing.com and at this stage they were helpful and understanding. I knew I had to sort out what was in storage so I borrowed the money to pay what I owed.
I discussed it with Storing.com on the telephone and by email and paid the outstanding amount together with an additional fee for three additional days until I could arrange collection. Even while I was agreeing this with Storing.com and making payment, they were either in the process of or had already destroyed my belongings. Everything that was left of my mother and father, together with some valuable work in progress and musical instruments of mine were simply destroyed.
Storing.com have refused to deal properly with the situation, refused to tell me who destroyed what was there and how (in case I can recover anything). After initially refusing to correspond with me they eventually very reluctantly passed me on to their insurers. They still refuse to tell me what happened to my belongings or provide any evidence of their destruction or where they were sent to. They are now not even providing necessary information to their insurance company.
This has been going on since the end of July this year. In other words, they are not accepting responsibility for what is at best a heart-breaking and very expensive mistake. I will bring legal proceedings if they do not resolve the situation, and luckily, I do have good legal connections. However, if you are considering using their service, please bear this story in mind. I have suffered considerable loss both of items very dear to me and my family, my work, musical equipment and items of value.
I strongly recommend this company. The two members of staff who came to collect my belongings were exceptionally helpful and friendly, had exceptional costumer service skills and manners and did an excellent and professional job. It is so incredibly rare these days to deal with friendly, intelligent, "normal" and hard-working people, who seem to enjoy their work and take pride in offering a first class service. When it happens, once in a blue moon, these people really need to be recognised and praised for their work and attitude.
My friend recommend storing. Com after having some of her parents valuables stored. I had my furniture in storage for 7 months and had an excellent service from start to finish.

I couldn't find anywhere cheaper and it's a really clean, secure facility. Very helpful staff helped me work out how much storage space I needed too so I didn't spend on space I didn't use. Much better deals than the big, well-known self storage places and a much more personal service.
I had an excellent experience until a box containing family heirlooms from my great grandmother went missing. I expected the team to help me locate them, but instead they simply took a cursory look at unit where my items had been stored and told me that the items were not there and that "the investigation is complete." I was absolutely shocked and suggested several other ways that they might track down the items and even offered to come to Milton Keynes myself, but they refused to acknowledge this and repeated only "our investigation is complete" over and over again.
I would say simply checking an empty storage unit is far from a thorough or complete investigation for irreplaceable family heirlooms, and I would expect that a storage company would pride themselves on being trustworthy and dedicated to returning customers' items. I find this appalling, and I hope that the team will take their business seriously and help me locate my missing items.

I am old. Not Computer literate. My boss said we have a new computer program. Scared heck out of me. Turns out it is a super program and even I could learn how to use it, It is very user friendly and really adds a lot to our bottom line in many ways.
Much cheaper than any other self storage place I looked at. Very friendly and efficient service. I'm storing some furniture with them while I'm between house moves.
I have my things in storage for a while. It is safe. The staffs are so nice and don't have headache as I know my things are safe and well looked after. Excellent customer service! Superb professionalism!
