The reason for my 1-star review is not because of the staff at the Sunbury branch—they are excellent. My issue is with senior management and their pricing decisions.
I have been a customer at the Sunbury branch since it first opened, and the only reason I have remained with the company is because of Raj. He consistently goes above and beyond for every customer. He is professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and genuinely cares about customer service. In my opinion, he is one of the company’s greatest assets and deserves recognition for the outstanding work he does.
My complaint is directed at whoever is responsible for the annual price increases. I would welcome the opportunity to meet with the CEO, together with Raj at the Sunbury branch, to discuss how the company can justify increasing long-term customers’ storage fees by around 30% every year. In my experience, most other storage companies increase prices by around 5–10%, depending on how long a customer has been with them.
These repeated large increases make loyal customers feel undervalued. I’ve spoken to many people who have left because they simply couldn’t justify the continual rises. Building a successful business is about retaining loyal customers through excellent service and fair pricing—not pricing them out.
I don’t know how these pricing decisions are made, but they are damaging customer loyalty and, in my opinion, driving business away.
Once again, I want to make it clear that my criticism is not aimed at the staff in Sunbury. Raj is exceptional, and his commitment to customers is the main reason I’ve stayed with the company. The business needs more managers like him.
I respectfully ask the CEO to read this review and arrange a meeting with me and Raj at the Sunbury branch to discuss the pricing strategy and how it is affecting long-standing customers.

Very friendly and helpful staff, gave me good advice to select the storage size that was the best fit for me and happy to answer any questions I had.

Excellent! I signed up to the Loughton STOREX & immediately felt at home. Gavin & Gemma really are amazing. They made me feel very welcomed from the start & helped me to customise my requirements. They are both super friendly & patient. It has given me so much more freedom in my life since becoming a guest. The units are spotless & keep cool. I like the modern keyless smartphone entry it reassures me that my stuff is safe. No more bulky padlocks & remembering keys. I think all the other storage providers out there should invest in this technology. The staff always go above & beyond. I highly recommend this place. Didn't bother to contact me in any way before increasing price of my unit.
When I called to complain, there was no apology at all.
Total lack of customer service.

Initial discussion with Bena was great, very informative and thorough.
However, 24 hours later company took x 3 lots of payments. , I had forewarned them that x 2 were overpayments, they stated as they were In “ pending “, they would be sent back to my Acc.
After x 2 days having seen both payments gone through ( which were the over payments ), I sent an email ! .
By day 5, still no reply or reach out by the company. Very poor customer focused relations .

The staff Rianne was very lovely and helpful to me, and gave me all the necessary information.

Speedy check-in, welcoming reception, no unnecessary bureaucracy, and the facility looks secure.

Very helpful and was easy to use the app.

Staff are great especially Raj but price is expensive and very very expensive when the yearly price increases it goes up £70 a month a bloody joke many places go up by £20 a month so they don't even explain why such substantial increase when u ask staff they don't know why . But RAJ HE INE HELL OF A DECENT BLOKE who helps out wherever he can so ty raj and reason why i think the substantial increase is I think it cause owner wants to be greedy which he should put customer service and satisfaction before greedy profits I mean I no problem it going up £15-20 a month every year but £70 a piss take so I'd like to meet the owner and get him to explain to everyone why he feels need to rip people off unexpectedly n unnecessary.as mentioned I understand it needs to go up but not those sort price hikes and same with there own storage insurance they charge 3 times as much as other main insurance companies I no idea why it's wrong n should be cheaper if ur renting there storage unit/s ty

We went to visit a storage unit at storex Loughton, discussed prices and they assured us that if we found a cheaper price elsewhere they have a price match promise. We then found a unit cheaper elsewhere and asked them to price match it as it fit within all the requirements they had set out for this to be possible. Storex refused to price match it and gave every excuse under the sun to get out of their price match promise. Terrible customer service and false advertisement.

Update - unfortunately I cannot reply directly to the reply the company gave but this reply they have given is completely false, they have given this response without knowing any information on what my specific situation was or who I am so they have given a generic response. ALL guidelines were met and they still did not honour the price match that they promise to have!

Really helpful staff , excellent experience.

Lift one month didn't work, had use stairs, but for Storex everything OK. Storex said that I can come at 8 a.m. , wait whole hour and at 9 a.m someone come and help with it. Here is not customer friendly company. Sorry, that no competitors in my area. if it would be I would be happy to leave Storex.
