These are the most amazing monitors that I have come across since my M-Audio DSM1 Audiophile days. The sound is so warm and clear and round and perfect especially once you begin to tune through them it is absolutely amazing to hear. Extremely happy with these to use for production and mastering work. Yamaha has me sold out to them again!
Love em. Using in a 3x3m room. Just the right balance of bass for the room. They can get way too loud, but that’s just headroom for my purposes.
ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!! The quality is just amazing the sound is so just so much more the clarity is so good I am hearing things I have never noticed in music I have listen to most of my life!
There's a reason they are an industry standard. True, honest sound at it's best. Flatest pair of monitors I've owned and the build quality is superb. Can't go wrong with a pair of these...
Amazing monitors. So clear without altering/enhancing the sound. Using mainly for prog rock and can hear all lows/mids and highs crystal clear

Amazing sound fidelity, beautiful build quality and finish and something about having a white speaker cone pointed at you when you're mixing feels... right.
Yamaha is like the the Toyota of studio equipment and nothing was held back in making these amazing speakers.
Speedy delivery despite not being in stock. Website did not tell me they were out of stock however and was informed by email after I already made the purchase. The tracking number was not sent out to me when they were sent resulting in them sitting in the warehouse in my city for over a week as I was told the expected delivery was mid August and did not check my mailbox for a missed delivery card.
Very clear, particularly detailed in the mids/upper mids. Solid construction and weight. Useful EQ controls built in. Needs a good gap away from rear wall - 1m is ok but 1.5m recommended.
