Bad experience

Never answer the phone and don't respond to emails. Like the previous reviewer, I emailed them with plenty of notice that I did not want to renewal my policy and to allow it to lapse at the current expiry date. The email was ignored and they have now charged my bank and renewed the policy. It seems impossible to establish any communication at all with this company by phone or email. I will now have to dispute the charge with the bank and block the company.

Update: I managed to get in touch with the company by contacting the number associated with JP3 Broking LTD, which Store and Insure trade under. The man who answered, presumably the business owner, was polite and genuinely apologetic, and issued the refund immediately. It's just unfortunate that I had to go to those lengths to establish communication. Perhaps this will prompt the company to make adjustments moving forward.

Not a trustworthy company

Not a trustworthy company, they sent my password to me by email in plain text along with my username.

I have contacted them to inform them that I wish to cancel my policy and raise a complaint about their IT security however I have not heard back from them and it is not possible to get through by phone.

I have also reported the company to the regulator for their unacceptable IT security practice and advised them that I was doing so.

Incredibly expensive

Incredibly expensive - they quoted me £1,185.60 per annum whereas surewise quoted me £386.24. Quite the difference, eh? Not only that, storeandinsure also use a disreputable reviews agency, reviews.io, where all of the reviews are good. You can find reviews.io here on TrustPilot, reviewed badly.

Steer clear of storeandinsure.
