Of course, when there's a sale, they double the prices beforehand to make it seem like you're getting an incredible deal. Sometimes, the "80% off" price is higher than the actual price of the game.

Companies like Sony should be obligated…

Companies like Sony should be obligated to offer descent support and should also be easy to contact. The support site is like a maze… and calling them takes hours of being on hold. And when they finally respond… you get the same page as the support site… which wasn’t helpful in the first place (mentioned this during initial contact). Insane…

CAnt buy nowt..worst website coding going. Force to sign in to a playstation accout to purchase or click your basket. Then when you do continually just refreshes saying time out..that was through chrome mobile android. I also tried the in klarna browser but you can't even do a good job of logging in there never mind not timing out. Wish people wanted xboxs cause Sony are a stain

0000000 this is the note. I credited my wallet with my work Christmas gift card and I cannot buy the article I want because it is accessory. 1 I spend money to convert in PS money.
2 I try to buy the PS accessory. 3 My money is not available for this product and no refundable. 4 This is a perfect robbery. Sony cheats with you and makes you a hater. There must be a huge Warn to prevent that because all products are available from the same site but not same money. But the money I spend is the same I could spend for steam or Microsoft, etc.5 All my future video game budgets will go to concurrence and I stop all subscriptions. You earned 150€ this time, you'll lose far more than that.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience, automatically locking player accounts while transaction error information is not found. When the bank that made the transaction announced that there was no transaction error, PSN did not give any explanation, and did not reply to emails. Everyone should consider carefully before making international card payments on this platform.

Worst game console ever produced! A "legitimate" SCAM!

Worst design -getting hot- very noisy, worst customer service, longest and frustrating setup that I ever encounter on a product, (I DON"T WANT A PASSKEY !!!!!!!! I'm fine with my password) worst UI and UX, no optical audio out (like PS4 had) NO GAMES only REMAKES!!! EXPENSIVE REMAKES!!! EXPENSIVE CONSOLE FOR WHAT IT DOES!!! DEFFECTIVE CONTOLLER SCAM (search for "Sony's Scam" on YouTube (channel Major_Trenton)
JUST SAVE THE MONEY AND BUILD A PC!

Worst customer experience I've ever had…

Worst customer experience I've ever had - wait times of over 60 minutes for any agent on the phone, or over 100 people in a chat queue, and then the options available are so unhelpful to be virtually useless. Honestly this experience has been so bad I would not buy a PlayStation again as I can't guarantee that my account or hardware will receive any meaningful customer support whatsoever

Worst piece of crap ever

Worst piece of crap ever! Who the **** allowed this to be set up this badly? Trying to find out when something will be delivered, and track the package is the most frustrating experience ever. Like is it deliberately set up to be this annoying or is PlayStation just this incompetent. Jesus christ, why make it so buggy and difficult. You should hire some one from amazon to design it because this is actually horrific. You honestly should be ashamed of yourselves for putting this together in such a badly constructed manner. It's an experience of menu after menu, with no real sense of what the order is, just numbers and then when you click one, realise its not the right order, you come back out and your back at the top of the list. It's nearly impossible to find your order and track it.

Extremely Disappointed with PlayStation Store Experience

I am thoroughly disappointed with my recent experience with the PlayStation Store. For my birthday, I received five PlayStation gift cards totalling £450, intended to purchase a PS5 Pro console. I redeemed three of them, adding £250 to my account, but was unable to redeem the remaining two £100 cards due to an undisclosed wallet limit of £250. This limitation was not communicated anywhere during the redemption process.

To make matters worse, the two unredeemed gift cards now show a £0 balance, effectively losing £200. I also discovered that gift cards cannot be used to purchase consoles—a crucial detail that wasn't clearly stated on the website. The PlayStation.com site centralises the purchase of consoles and gift cards, but when attempting to buy a console, it redirects to PlayStation Direct, where gift cards aren't accepted.

Despite numerous calls and chats with customer support (Case Number: **33363260**), no solution has been provided. I now have £250 stuck in my account that I can't use towards the console purchase, and £200 seemingly vanished from the unredeemed gift cards.

This entire experience has been stressful and disheartening. I urge PlayStation to review Case 33363260 and address these issues promptly.

What a disgarace
I purchased a test drive unlimited on Ps what a scam game not even starting... Scam screenshot graphic outdated from 2002, i requested a refund and they declined. Word of ADVICE TO SONY KEEP TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS LIKE SHIT AND PLAYSTATION WILL END UP LIKE SONNY's PHONES FORGOTTEN. I'M SWITCHING TO THE PC MIDDLE AND MIDDLE FINGER TO SONY AS WELL. At least on stem you can return games if they are crap

Terrible Service for coupon codes

Recently opened an brand new copy of Borderlands 3 Super Deluxe edition tat I purchased years ago. Nowhere is it advertised that in order to get the additional content, I need to use a coupon code found inside that expires. Play station refuses to help on the issue and will hang up on you if you request a supervisor or manager. They provide case numbers so fast and then hang up so it is impossible to refer back.

In essence, I am being denied content I paid for as advertised which should therefore make entitled to a refund since they refuse to issue me the content I paid for.

Support is Useless

Dealing with PS5 support has been a nightmare. They simply ignore your issues, and, to add insult to injury, the feedback links they provide lead to a blank page. It’s as if they don’t care about resolving the endless problems their device has. For the price, you’d expect at least basic support, but instead, they leave you stranded with faulty hardware and zero assistance. Absolutely unacceptable!

The PlayStation store scams people

The PlayStation store is set up to just scam people, I went to buy cod: black ops 6 and instead of wanting to purchase the $99.99 dollar option, I select the $69.99 option next to it In the game page and start the download and with out realizing that they strategically put modern warfare 3 next to black ops 6, the moment i noticed it wasn’t black ops 6 I stopped the down load. Maybe 30 - 45 seconds of it starting the download. And now they won’t do a refund.

Can't access account

Can't access account. My account uses an old email and i have to put some code in which i can't access email to get the code. the support page is a list of non helpful information, can't find actual support person to talk too. They need to improve custom support, no everyone is a robot and can follow useless guides. maybe its a sign to switch to xbox and throw Playstation in the bin! cause that what it deserves. lost all my trophies and online purchases.
