The merchandise itself is excellent — high quality, well-made, and exactly as described. I was genuinely happy with the products I received.
I do want to warn U.S. customers about shipping costs. While the site clearly states that customs and import duties may apply outside the UK (which is expected), the carrier choice has a major impact on the final price and is not transparent at checkout.
My order was shipped via UPS, and I was charged roughly 60% of my purchase price at delivery. A significant portion of this total came from UPS brokerage and disbursement fees, not government customs alone.
This isn’t about disputing customs policy — it’s about transparency and choice. If UPS is the shipping method, customers should be given alternate options so they can understand the full cost before ordering.
Beware of Tariffs
I bought a pennant and coffee mug off the Liverpool FC site. It indicated it was their US site. The product quality is fine and the order went thru fine....it required $10 for shipping. No mention was made it would ship from Netherlands and tariffs would be added by carrier. UPS tracking gave no details either. The $27 order shows up and the UPS driver wants a check for $42.21 citing tariffs! So....just wanted to put that out so all are aware

Chelsea fan here. Purchased a dartboard for some friends/fans of LFC in Thailand for Christmas. Item was stopped by customs waiting for information from the seller, was never contacted by either LFC or UPS. Watched tracking for days, sent multiple emails, had friends in Thailand call, all for LFC to return the item on their own behalf back to their shipping warehouse in the Netherlands. Was asked for $140 dollars extra after purchase for customs, almost the cost of the item. Customer service did nothing to help, took days to respond, only to be told if I wanted to solve the problem, I would have to buy another dartboard. Absolute sham. Incompetent, extortionate and corrupt. I would give them 0/5 if it was an option. Shop elsewhere, I hope they get smashed into relegation.
No Warning About Tariffs, Fans Left Paying Hidden Costs
I’ve always supported Liverpool and bought directly from the official LFC Store to make sure my money went to the club. But this last experience was a huge disappointment.
After ordering through the official app, I was hit with a $70 import tariff per shipment to the U.S. — nearly doubling the cost of my order. There were no warnings, prompts, or notices about potential customs charges anywhere in the checkout process. I went back through the app and simulated another order just to confirm — still nothing.
When I reached out to Support, I received a copy-and-paste policy response claiming there are “multiple on-screen notices,” which is simply untrue. I was also told to refuse delivery and deal with UPS myself.
It’s deeply unfair to fans who are just trying to support the club. At the very least, there should be a clear, visible notice at checkout that international buyers may be charged additional tariffs. Until that changes, I’ll be buying my gear elsewhere.

Adidas kids home shirt runs small
ordered an Adidas LFC home for 25/26 season - for my daughter's birthday, her 9th (18th Oct). I ordered an 9-10. I added the standard name/number (Salah 11). Its arrived, its way too small. I tried it on 2 x 9 year olds and 1 x 8 year old, not going to fit or get much wear before they grow out of it. I contacted the online chat, Chole E I think, and they said no to a return/replace due to customisation. The shirt sizing clearly runs small in comparison to LFC own produced clothing and the previous kit supplier Nike. I've escalated citing consumer rights etc but I doubt they will do anything. the attitudes of the online CS team is trash, its not what I would expect of my club whom I have supported for 45 years. I will NOT ever purchase anything from LFC again, and it has tarnished how I think of LFC going forward. disgusting behaviour they have shown and zero empathy.
Ordered a jersey for my 9 year old
Ordered a jersey for my 9 year old. The first one, besides looking smaller than expected for the advertised age, arrived with his personalised name misspelt and we had to ask for a refund. The second shirt (which I then ordered in a bigger size) arrived full of pulls and marks and loose threads and I had to send back - awful quality which I assumed was a one-off and had been done in the factory. The third shirt has now started to look worn out after only a few games, thread pulls and marks - looks awful. Very very poor quality and sizing guide completely wrong.
3 shirt orders in total, two had to go back and the third looks bad. Would NOT recommend.

I bought 3 new home kits recently
I bought 3 new home kits recently - one for each of my boys and one for a member of my son’s under 10 football team who broke his leg.
The kids love them and they look really good - love the design.
However, the material is much more lightweight and has a less premium feel than last season’s Nike kit, and the kit is definitely smaller fitting than last season’s offering, so unfortunately will not last as long.
It’s a shame because the kits are not cheap. I’d expect better quality for the price and despite using the size chart on the website it still looks small on (maybe this hasn’t been updated for the new supplier?)
Anyway, the kids are chuffed with their new kit so that’s the main thing!

Worst customer service ever. I bought an Authentic Adidas home jersey and paid for a ‘Gold Premier League Patch’ which was not delivered & they sent me a faulty item which has threads missing.
Customer service didn’t even apologise- they just said to send it back and re order the item and they’ll refund me the express shipping.
Turns out the item is sold out and Kloe C who was working in the live chat was rude, incompetent and refused to take accountability. In her words “there’s nothing we can do if the item is sold out and we don’t have to fulfil your order”.
Sorry that is the worse customer service experience ever- Liverpool FC needs to invest in their staff who are dealing with the everyday people who support this club with their hard earned money. As a Liverpool fan… go elsewhere. Go directly to Adidas to buy the kit.

Despite several emails to lfc and the courier etc … I still continue to have to waste more time chasing this up as I’m not prepared to loose £120 , and they wonder why there is a problem with fake merchandise, well looking at their reviews I’m not surprised !! Probably get better service .
