Ignored order and mail. No order recieved
Order way before Christmas deadline (12th of November). Heard nothing. Wrote to them. No direct reply. Week later I got a mail that my order was shipped, this was 17th of December. No track and trace, which I payed for. Now it is the 7th of January and I have heard nothing. Luckily I had a backup Christmas present. I will start a dispute with Paypal. Seems like the only way to get a hold of them.
This is actually the worst I have experienced online. By far. Seems like a scam site to be honest.
No delivery & ignored emails!
Pre ordered an item in January this year, long story short, it never arrived. After ignored emails asking what's going, I opened a PayPal dispute. Iam8bit then replied to PayPal after ignoring my initial dispute, but not my emails.. horrendous customer service. I would never use again. Thankfully PayPal refunded me. Still awaiting a reply from Iam8bit though..
AVOID! Bad products and seriously bad customer service!
Order: pre-orderd 3 vinyls in January 2017, arrived July 2017 due to the fact that the one of the vinyls still had not been released yet. Even though they state on their website that they will ship separately.
When contacting them through the seven months I would get extremely poorly worded emails bad from just 1 person, who would never actually answer my questions correctly, merely go around them like how a politician does to an interviewer.
When the vinyls finally came they were all badly pressed (pops and crackles on the vinyls) I discovered on Reddit that many people all seem to have this issue and this is kind of known when it comes to this company.
I contacted them two weeks ago for an exchange and now no reply from them what so ever!
Honestly, regardless of how awesome their products are I would avoid them until you see them change their ways.
O and never buy a product from them that gives you the digital copy as well as once they give you that code your refund option is gone!

Serious management and professionalism issues with this company.
iam8bit is unable to deliver their products in the time-frames advertised. They apparently have incompetent production management and no ability to accurately project production and delivery times.
Iam8bit's customer service is deceiving and dodges or does not respond to questions.
Recently questions were raised on their faebook page regarding the lack of economical shipping options like USPS Priority flat rate boxes. Whoever was responding apparently was completely unable to grasp the question - first instructing users to "allow your browser to fully load the page". Huh? No, that isn't going to make shipping options you do not offer suddenly appear. It was again claimed the options being asked for are available. After two days of back and forth with customer service dodging the direct question, a new answer came saying that they had to use their basic brown bubble lined envelopes to ensure protection of the product. When it was questioned how an envelope protects better than a shipping box the string of comments was deleted and users were blocked from their facebook page.
There was no reason for iam8bit to act contentiously - just answer the question honestly and don't BS your customers.
BS'ing their customers is something they are deeply entrenched in particular regarding release dates and their grandiose claims of reverence for the games they are producing product for. Some may recall their grand claims of producing a stellar product for REZ Infinite. They didn't, and only made amends to their false advertising after complaints rang out.
Iam8bit regularly misleads customers inquiring about product updates with lies saying that emails were sent or that the product update page has accurate information. Both situation are recurringly shown to be lies.
This company needs some professional management.
It doesn't much matter to me at this point. I won't be spending any more money with them.
5/18/2017 Update. Finally recieved my products after nearly 5 months. Overall disapointing. Not the best paperboard record sleeve with a blemish in the ink/artwork. Cardboard dust and splinters and on the records.
Terrible Customer service and unnotified delays
I pre ordered an item that was set to released around the 20th November. 2 weeks past the end of November, I had sent 2 emails, 1 Twitter DM, and 2 tweets to their customer service, and I still had no reply. Apparently, they send out 'regular' updates to inform you of any delays by email. They had not sent any. I decided to check the website, where I found that the new release date was set to February of 2017.
I finally received an email, having had to reach out again on Twitter stating I was being ignored, as they were clearly replying to other questions.
By that point I was ready to cancel the order as it would have missed the date of my anniversary by 3 months.
